Thanks for your contribution to Randolph High School (New Jersey), but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the Sandbox to get started. I hope you can help us out! raining girl 01:32, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
randolph school students comedy fiction
[edit]You keep reverting Randolph School, without comment. There's no place in wikipedia for that section, however funny. If you're going to continue reverting then at least explain why you think the section should be in. I've added my comment to the page's discussion, you have just put the jokes back. raining girl 14:36, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. yandman 14:53, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
No one, but the students I have turned on to the site visit it. Unless there is a way to mark the number of hits a certain page gets, and I see that people look at it on a daily basis, then it is not really doing any harm. The kids that view it (and they are actual students and friends of mine) get such a kick out of it that I have been getting paid to do certain people. I see it as a way to ust get extra practic for my creativ writing class and public speaking class as well. - - - Joefuf
- Well, Wikipedia is not the place for that kind of thing, so please refrain. However, it would be reasonable for you to write that kind of thing on your own user page, so I've moved that section to your userpage. Feel free to maintain it there, but keep that kind of thing out of the main encyclopedia, or, like Yandman said, you'll be blocked. Mangojuicetalk 11:13, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
How about this, since I usually update the page at night and show it to people the next day around noon, I will remove it as soon as I get home from school the day after I update it and only when update it. That means its only on the page for a few hours. Plus it's not like I have every day of the week to update it. I think I would only do it onece every two weeks or so. - - Joefuf
- It's vandalism. If you continue doing it you'll be blocked from editing. Mangojuicetalk 14:44, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Is there any way to make a copy of the page for me to edit at another location on Wikipedia? One that will not affect the public in any way, but meant for the humor of my classmates and myself? - - - Joefuf
Joe: If you make a subpage within your user page (by creating a new link like User:Joefuf/Humor , you could copy your version of the page there and link your friends. I've reverted the page in the mean time. To avoid more unpleasantness, I'd avoid reverting it. If you'd like, I could help you copy the information when the time comes. It may simply be easier, however, to copy the humorous section to the page -- Nonesuch: Fiat Lux 15:20, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
