Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of TV Networks airing BoBoiBoy, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages ARD, TV5 and SF1 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia:Non-free content policy and guideline

[edit]

I've just removed a significant number of non-free images from your userpage, since such use is a violation of our policy concerning the use of non-free images. Any such logos can only be used within actual articles. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. VernoWhitney (talk) 00:56, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, SkyCable TBA

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, SkyCable TBA. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – SkyCable. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at SkyCable – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Manway 02:09, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm 117Avenue. I noticed that you made a change to an article, List of Disney XD TV channels, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 23:56, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on IWanTV! requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. The article Upcoming SkyCable Channels has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails per WP:NOTDIR on following Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/3rd bundle of channel lineups.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Upcoming SkyCable Channels

[edit]

Hello Jadewest.catvalentine,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Upcoming SkyCable Channels for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, ToastyMallows talk 17:28, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Upcoming SkyCable Channels, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Mediran (tc) 03:19, 16 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Upcoming SkyCable Channels. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Broadcast history

[edit]

Per MOS:TV#Broadcast, "When detailing a show's international broadcasting, simply listing every channel the series appears on is discouraged, Wikipedia is not a television guide. Apart from the channel of origin for the series, editors are encouraged to instead detail English-speaking countries that the series appears through prose form." The MOS goes on to say "All information must be verifiable by reliable sources." In some cases tables may be appropriate, such as when there are a lot of countries airing a program, but at Friends the verifiable list of countries is small, so the content is best handled with prose, partly because of accessibility issues. Unsourced content should never be added to international broadcast sections, as you did at Friends. --AussieLegend () 11:00, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do not revert without reason

[edit]

You reverted Drmies's edit on Oggy and the Cockroaches. You gave no reason. Drmies, an admin, gave several reasons why the section was deleted. You gave no reason. Please do not revert anybody without a valid reason. Bgwhite (talk) 01:17, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Two things. This is an encyclopedia, or it tries to be, not a collection of factoids that are of no current or lasting relevance. Content needs to be verified, relevant, and conform to our guidelines. Second, being incommunicado is never a good idea. You don't leave edit summaries, you don't respond to messages on your talk page; in fact, you haven't made a single edit to a talk page. Now, that business with those flag icons, that's just silly. MOS:FLAG governs that, and your use of it does not jive with it. So please stop. And please start communicating. Drmies (talk) 03:37, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
