This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of David Grimes (physician), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://davidagrimes.com/.

It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. RfA study

Hi Everymorning, you are calling for help on the RfA study, could you specify what you have in mind?: Noyster (talk), 10:44, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Just adding RFAs that have been closed since the most recent one listed on the RFA study page. Everymorning (talk) 12:32, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/2005-03-14-side-effects_x.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. reddogsix (talk) 04:20, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Autism

Hi Everymorning,

My name is Grace and I'm a student at American University in Washington, DC. I am taking a class on Wikipedia and I was wondering if you know why the Wikiprojects Autism has gone inactive.

As an outsider looking in I know that the statistics and terminology in the field of Autism are constantly changing. With the prevalence rates of Autism increasing, shouldn't the public be interested in the topic now more than ever?

What has been your experience working on the Autism-related pages?

Best, Gr3524a (talk) 16:35, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

  • Hi Grace, I haven't been that active on the autism-related pages in a little while, but I was in 2013 and 2014. So I'm not sure of why it may have become less popular since then. SandyGeorgia used to be really active on these subjects and she hasn't made any edits in about 2 months. [1] Everymorning (talk) 16:40, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

Roscelese (talkcontribs) 23:31, 28 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello,

I have read your wikipedia page about Mohammed Al-Bayati and I can see it is highly subjective and biased. The first source you site does not state he is involved in the death of Eliza. The sources you sited also does not state he is a HIV/AIDS denialist. You also only add in negative commments towards this person. If you were going to add a bad review about his firm, you would also need to add something positive. I found many sources online for that. For the lead section his case with Eliza should not be there, try adding that in somewhere else. Like maybe under a new header called court cases, as he does have many. I would like to work on improving this page together.

Thanks! Fatimaalkh (talk) 16:39, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

  • In regards to the Al-Bayati article, it doesn't say he was responsible, in part or entirely, for Scovill's death, but rather that he released a report disagreeing with the coroner's ruling as to what Scovill's cause of death was. This, as well as the criticism of Al-Bayati's report from another examiner, is verifiable in the ABC news source. Although the ABC news source (the first one) doesn't say he is an AIDS denialist, the coverage of him in the book "Denying AIDS" (citation 6) seems to be enough to establish that he is one. I see what you mean with regard to the placement of the Scovill stuff, and I agree it should be moved out of the lead-in other words, I have changed my mind since I wrote that article >2 years ago. Best, Everymorning (talk) 21:42, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello, would you like me to move the Scovill's death from the lead section? If so where would you like to me to move it too? If not, could you please move that. I am working on developing this wikipedia page, so I want to get things going. I also feel like this case is not important in Dr. Al-Bayatis Biography. Another thing I would like to say is that I want to add ALOT onto the article. I want to follow wikis method on writing a wiki biography. Wikipedia: Manual of Style/Biographies Thanks Fatimaalkh (talk) 02:54, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Hello again, I am working on adding more information to his education heading. What you have does not supply enough information for a reader who wants to know about his educational background. It is important we use proper citations! The lead section is also very poorly developed. Could either you or me move the Scovill story to another part of the page? The lead section is supposed to include "MOS guidelines for lead paragraphs should generally be followed; the opening paragraph should establish notability, neutrally describe the person, and provide context. The opening paragraph should have:

"[1]Name(s) and title(s), if any (see, for instance, also Wikipedia:Naming conventions (royalty and nobility)); Dates of birth and death, if known (but for dates of birth see WP:BLPPRIVACY, which takes precedence); for how to write these dates, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers#Dates of birth and death; Context (location or nationality); In most modern-day cases this will mean the country of which the person is a citizen, national or permanent resident, or if notable mainly for past events, the country where the person was a citizen, national or permanent resident when the person became notable. Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless it is relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, previous nationalities or the country of birth should not be mentioned in the opening sentence unless they are relevant to the subject's notability. The notable positions the person held, activities they took part in or roles they played; Why the person is notable."

The lead you have developed needs a lot of work! We can work on this together. And remember no biases :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatimaalkh (talkcontribs) 03:02, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

  • I have moved the Scovill stuff out of the lead and into its own subsection. If you think there's something wrong with the page, you can of course fix it yourself. I do think it's important because a lot of the coverage of Al-Bayati in reliable sources stems from this report, and so that it should be discussed to no less an extent as it is in the article now. Your previous edits were reverted (correctly, in my opinion) by User:Yobol; if you want to know why, you can ask him on his talk page. I agree the lead should definitely be fleshed out, but I'm not sure off the top of my head what info belongs in it. Everymorning (talk) 03:05, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Okay, thank you for your timely responses. When I do click on Yobol's page it is an empty page, that has not yet been developed. Wondering if you know anything about that. Let me know if you have any suggestions for me throughout this process. My previous edits were reverted due to it being too similar to a resume. This is what I got from that. I am currently following wikipedia guidelines on how to do a biography. I also have yet to find information on Dr.Al-Bayati being a HIV/AIDS denialist. Nor do I think this needs to be mentioned in the lead. I am going to be creating a heading called "Medical Views" Also from my sources I see that he is a former member of the Alive and Well AIDS Alternatives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatimaalkh (talkcontribs) 03:22, 25 April 2016 (UTC)

Hey there, I moved your information from "views on AIDS" to a new heading called Medical Views. Because Dr.Al-Bayati's medical views are broader than just AIDS it makes more sense to say Medical Views. I also added more detailed information on Dr.Al-Bayati's education. I organized it chronologically. It seems like you really want to add he is a HIVAIDS denialist. I can add that in under medical views, that it has been asserted he is so. But it was never self proclaimed. I also was NOT able to find on the ABC source that he is a HIV/AIDS Denialist. I believe a more straightforward source is needed before that is added in :)

Thank you!Fatimaalkh (talk) 04:37, 25 April 2016 (UTC)
