I have reverted your change. This shortcut is very widely used; if the new guideline is adopted (which seems unlikely), it should have its own different shortcut (WP:NOPAID has been suggested) and/or be added to the hatnote at the head of WP:No personal attacks, but this one should not be changed. Hello, IntoThinAir, and thank you for your contributions!

An article you worked on Walter Orenstein, appears to be directly copied from http://www.vaccines.emory.edu/scientists/orenstein_bio.shtml. Please take a minute to make sure that the text is freely licensed and properly attributed as a reference, otherwise the article may be deleted.

It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on Walter Orenstein if necessary. MadmanBot (talk) 14:49, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Sorry. It wasn't actually copied and pasted, it just ended up coming out almost exactly the same as the bio I was using as a source when I wrote it. I have since rewritten it to try to make it more different from the Emory bio. Of course, I don't expect you to re-grant me the autopatrolled right, but it would be nice if you could. Hi, I've noticed that you sometimes include direct links to the Web of Science and/or the journal Citation Reports in journal articles that you create (thanks for that, by the way!) An example that I just saw is Brain, Behavior, and Immunity. Try clicking them, I bet they won't even work for you now. These links are session specific. I have access to these databases, but if I click the link, I get a "you have no session" notice. As the JCR is not a database in the usual sense (that is, once it's published, it's not changed any more -with some rare exceptions), you can cite it as a book, no link needed. Have a look at my user page where I keep a general form of the reference that I use, so that I only need to copy/paste it and then fill in the journal/category name. Hope this helps. Happy editing! --Randykitty (talk) 17:12, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.

This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Content disputes can hold up article development and make editing difficult for editors. You are not required to participate, but you are both invited and encouraged to help find a resolution. The thread is "NaturalNews". Please join us to help form a consensus. Thank you! EarwigBot operator / talk 12:16, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi! Dispute Resolution Volunteer here. Just so you know, the next time something like this happens, you can just mention in your DRN response that there is a filing on another noticeboard, and a volunteer will close it on that basis. Also, keep an eye out for sockpuppets; that is often the next step these kind of editors try after being blocked. Report them as you see them, and feel free to drop me a line on my talk page if you need help. Keep up the good work. It's editors like you that keep our articles from becoming pure PR with no criticisms. --Guy Macon (talk) 14:14, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Phil Mason requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:24, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Co-Optimists, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AMC (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
