A tag has been placed on Highrollers with Heart, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Stezton 18:10, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Hrwh.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because images on Wikipedia need to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License or another free license, which allow anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to I Love Money, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to I Love Money. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Ophois (talk) 03:48, 15 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussing changes

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you keep reintroducing changes to the Rock of Love: Charm School article without making any attempt at discussing it at the appropriate talk page. Please refrain from making further reverts to the article without doing so, as it is not constructive. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 22:33, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, that {{tone}} tag was up on the section for a reason. There's a clear section on the talk page if you want to discuss it. But please do not blindly remove maintenance tags if you aren't going to fix the underlying problem. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 17:35, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About synopses in Rock of Love: Charm School

[edit]

Hi there, Huggy- I really would like to thank you for taking the time to write the detailed episode synopses for the Rock of Love: Charm School episodes. However, I'd like to give you a few pointers to help enhance your contributions.

  • First and foremost, you need to work on the tone of your contributions- by this I specifically mean your contributions aren't worded in a formal, business-like tone. One sentence that comes to mind is this one:

When asked if she had a problem with anybody in the house, Destiney said she didn't really understood why Kristy Joe was still there, and Kristy Joe got a little upset about it.

A better way of phrasing it would be like this:

When asked for her opinion of the other contestants, Destiney suggested that Kristy Joe might not belong on the show any longer. Kristy Joe's reaction was to become slightly upset.

While I'm sure that's not perfect, and I'm not saying you should go and put that in verbatim, I think it's something to think about. Phrases like "didn't really understand" and "a little upset", and the use of sentences with a long series of subordinate clauses doesn't make for good or featured articles.
  • A neutral point of view is critical to article writing on Wikipedia, and I believe you're carrying over a stilted point of view from how certain events are portrayed in the episode. For example, in various synopses, you have painted Lacey as being manipulative. While the show pushes that point of view, we need to be careful, especially as the events in these shows may constitute part of a biography of living persons.
  • Additionally, you might want to check into the Manual of Style for writing about fiction. While one could argue that as a reality show, this isn't necessary, the producers put a lot of spin on the events in the show. For example, like I said above, the show tends to paint Lacey as being evil and manipulative. We generally shouldn't carry this directly over.
  • Something else you might want try is to be more concise. I don't have a particular example in mind, but it wouldn't hurt to read the advice in that link.
  • Finally, you really should participate in the discussion process for a page before blindly making changes, as indicated in my prior message. I notice that you've made extremely few contributions to article talk pages, and none to others. Other editors may take strong offense to this, and it can suggest that you think you own the articles you work on.

I hope this helps! Thanks again for your contributions! —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 04:06, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Austin John Winkler unsourced info

[edit]

Hallo, I have reverted your edit to Austin John Winkler because Wikipedia does not include unsourced content, especially about living people. If you have a Reliable Source you can cite which contains the information you added, then by all means add it again, with the source. Thanks. PamD 18:11, 17 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I tried citing it, feel free to fix it, I'm still new to all of this. Huggyprincess (talk) 15:04, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
