Disambiguation link notification for September 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Varndean School, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Fraser. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infobox images
[edit]Hi. I see that you've been adding photos to footballer infoboxes, such as here. When adding an image to an infobox, you should just add the filename to that field, rather than adding it as if you were adding a thumbnail image to the main body of the article. You can see the correct formatting here, prior to your edit. Cordless Larry (talk) 17:36, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Pablo Asensio. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! Invite to the African Destubathon
[edit]Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

[edit]How can you edit Peter gregory footballer page when you have 0 information on the player? I know Peter first hand and he’s played more games and in Portugal he signed a 2 year contract please get information right or Peter will ask for page to be taken down !! 2A00:23C5:C20B:8600:61CF:305E:4800:17B9 (talk) 09:13, 21 November 2021 (UTC)
Peter’s page is being updated with his appearances for Whitehawk, the club he has just joined. This will continue. I’ve made no edits relating to his earlier career. You should not be talking about deleting his page, because as an ex-professional, his page continues even though he is now playing for Whitehawk. Hrse12 (talk) 15:43, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

As per below. Perhaps someone else on your network is using a VPN? 331dot (talk) 17:07, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
