[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Star City, Birmingham. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. NeilN talk ♦ contribs 22:06, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Also, please read the guideline on external links which are to appear at the end of the article. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 22:11, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
How do I reply to you?! Help - I am simply trying to update the site as it is out of date - I am sorry if I am breaking any rules - it is not intended. Why can I not link to the official star site? Can I ask how you know what i am changing and how you comment - thanks!
John
- You can reply here or click the talk in my signature. I've added a section above that has help links. There's already a link to the official site at the bottom of the article where it belongs. Feel free to ask me any more questions. --NeilN talk ♦ contribs 22:21, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Hope this helps NeilN talk ♦ contribs 22:23, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
