Joyce & Puddery

[edit]

The article Joyce & Puddery has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 19:21, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Joyce & Puddery was a small fashon company that has been discontinued. It was named after it's founders, Joyce Sterling and Bobby Puddery. The company filed bankruptcy and and went out of business in the 1970s. Category:Defunct fashion companies {{stub}}

Would you be willing to reconsider your opposition to this candidate? Your edit cited a diff I had provided rather than anything Akhilleus had written or explicitly supported. DurovaCharge! 03:56, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hendry1307, even though you didn't support my RfA, I want to thank you for commenting. I agree with you that WP:AGF is an important principle which I intend to follow. If you have any comments about my use of the admin tools (or anything else) don't hesitate to leave me a message at my talk page. --Akhilleus (talk) 17:50, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Hendry Little! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 73 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Non-free rationale for File:QueensMinorLeagueGame.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:QueensMinorLeagueGame.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 19:34, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
