Broken warnings

Hi HelenDegenerate, the code you're using for user warnings is broken and includes the template documentation (green box). Please have a look at WP:WARN and copy the code from the table instead. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 22:03, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

2016 Sacramento Riot

Ok thanks. I don't know where I'm meant to be editing to send "messages" on this currently so hopefully this is the right place. It is true my tone was aggressive, though I thought I'd set it back enough to be alright & hopefully this new edit is even closer to ok. If it is better in your estimation to remove all of it I'd have no problem with that, it's just letting their discussion stand alone I have a problem with. I now know that was not your intent - and I'm sorry for assuming it was.

I'll add that when I put the comment back I still didn't know it wasn't deliberate to have removed mine and not theirs so that's what's up with my getting mad in the notes section on it.

This page is full of all sorts of warnings, from vandalism to lack of sourcing, to not signing, to spamming, etc.--Quisqualis (talk) 02:58, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Allday, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page After. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Section headings on talk pages

Hi again, I notice that you are adding messages to users' talk pages without adding a section heading, for example at User talk:181.139.55.179. WP:TALKHEADING recommends making a new heading for a new topic. Some users add headings like April 2021 for vandalism warnings. TSventon (talk) 13:50, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

UAA report formatting

Hello! If you're adding new reports to UAA manually, please add a line with a single asterisk (*) between the username reports. This helps with the page's readability in terms of separating the reports for different users (for more information you can see the discussion here: Special:Permalink/999153318#Spacing). If you don't want to have to worry about all that, I recommend using Twinkle to file UAA reports — just go to the user's page, select "ARV" from the Twinkle menu, and change the dropdown to "Username". This should automatically space the reports appropriately and it makes it super easy to file a new report too. Thanks, DanCherek (talk) 02:19, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Reporting usernames

Hullo. Generally we do not report usernames unless that person makes, or tries to make, an edit. Many accounts are created and never used, it is a timewaster to block them. Happy patrolling! Ifnord (talk) 22:10, 11 April 2021 (UTC)

Web server

The broken template you saw in this article was the result of vandalism. Whenever an article has broken syntax, especially near the top, it's a good idea to check for recent vandalism and revert it if you find any. 73.71.251.64 (talk) 22:26, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

Your accusation of bias

The information I added was factual. The county medical examiner ruled Daunte Wright's death a homicide. I don't know who you are that you think you can make accusations like that when you are totally wrong.

It is also factual that the police claim the shooting was due to mistakenly discharging a gun when the officer meant to discharge a taser.

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Integrated College Dungannon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Richard Wilson.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

UAA reporting - again

Although your interest in reporting active users whose names violate our policies is appreciated (and welcome), please take some time to check whether or not these new accounts have actively edited or not. If they haven't, please don't report them to WP:UAA. By all means add them to your watchlist instead and check them later to see if they do actively edit. Reporting inactive accounts simply wastes admin time, and is like 'crying "Wolf!"' as you'll find people like me might stop reacting to your reports. I know this might sound counter-intuitive, but many accounts are created automatically, and never get used. Reporting these is pointless, and I'd like to ask you to take just a bit more care in selecting the right ones to report in future. Kind regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 23:04, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

Applying "less than neutral" scrutiny on a less-than-neutral basis.

Admittedly, the edit I made was not neutral. However, the statement that "greenhouse gases created from a range of human activities... cause climate change" is also far from neutral. Why does neutrality not apply in the case of that statement?

Amazing User boxes!

Yet I still can't add one on my page 😞. Please teach me how as I am stupid and hardly ever understand complicated things! 😌 AnonymousMeh (talk) 21:31, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

@Anonymous Meh: There’s a page called Wikipedia:Userboxes/Galleries which will provide you an alphabetical list of userboxes by interests. You can also search for specific userboxes on Google (or any other looking-things-up platform). Then, once you have narrowed it down to one, all you have to do is copy and paste the source code (source code is these double curly brackets {{}} and anything within them) into your user page. That should cause the user box you selected to pop up on your page. I hope this is of some help to you. If you have any more questions, you can ask me any time on this talk page. :) HelenDegenerate (talk) 21:40, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

PROD notifications

Hello, HelenDegenerate,

I was just looking over Lisa Krohn which you PROD'd and noticed that you neglected to notify the page creator that you had tagged the page for deletion. This is an important step of the deletion process, whether CSD, PROD, or AFD/CFD/TFD/etc., even if the editor has not been active recently and if you make use of Twinkle, the program will post these notices for you. I encourage you to use it next time you tag a page for deletion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:59, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

Why did you wrongfully accused me of vandalism on the Dan Hill page?? I add a source for something that didn't not have reference. You supposed add reference as a wiki editor, so I add one. The only vandalism was from the last editor which was a IP user. - 21TVXQ (talk) 05:39, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi HelenDegenerate. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

For some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:35, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi there, you just nominated my userbox as deletion. I want to tell you that I created this userbox because there are users out there who opposed police brutality (I made this in response to the wrongful death of George Floyd). Police brutality is one of the really big issues around the world. The template I made was not anti-Police userbox but rather to oppose police brutality. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 20:13, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

@SpinnerLaserzthe2nd:, thank you for explaining— I can sort of get where you’re coming from. I’m still nominating it, though, because there are content restrictions as to what may be put into a UBX. If you want, you could make a new userbox which is a bit clearer as to its intent. 🐍 Helen 🐍 20:17, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
@HelenDegenerate: Should I re-edited the template? SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 20:19, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
@SpinnerLaserzthe2nd: I’d create a new userbox, since this one’s already been tagged. The new one could say something like “this user opposes police brutality”. 🐍 Helen 🐍 20:20, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
@HelenDegenerate: Can you redirect the old one to the new one instead? Thanks. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 20:21, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
@SpinnerLaserzthe2nd: I’m not sure what you mean by that. If you mean what I think you mean, which is creating a redirect, I’m sorry but I can’t. I don’t know how to do that. :( But you can create the new one with this userbox maker. 🐍 Helen 🐍 20:23, 13 May 2021 (UTC)

Regarding this edit and any others like it that you've made, please don't remove red links just because they're red links. Hello, and thank you for reading this. (It might give you a laugh, too!) You might want to keep a {{facepalm}} in hand while you're reading this.

I wanted to tell you (because it's funny) that you welcomed User:Littleb2009, me, an extended-confirmed user today at the talk page of the IP address 67.183.138.171.

So, you are wondering why I was editing by IP. Time for me to Facepalm Facepalm . So, I got really upset in real life, so I locked myself out of my WP account using the WikiBreak Enforcer. Then, I calmed down and realized that now I wouldn't be able to use my account until June 5. So I edited by IP until I remembered about my sock account. And you found my IP. ;) --Alt account of User:Littleb2009 (she/her) (talk) 05:22, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Nice to meet you— by the way, I’m totally going to take a leaf out of your book and make a “fan club” section on my user page. I’m a rollbacker, so that means I piss truckloads of people off. Notice

The article Cole Schwindt has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Other than routine sports coverage, does not meet WP:NHOCKEY.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Cole Schwindt moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Cole Schwindt, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. OhKayeSierra (talk) 04:00, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Apologies for the templated message. I meant to reword it before hitting the button, but accidentally forgot to do it in the right tab on my browser. Anyway, I moved your article to the draft space after seeing your message to the Teahouse, mainly so that you're able to focus on improving the article without having to worry about if it'll get deleted or not. Once you're ready to have it in the main space again, you're more than welcome to move it back yourself, submit it for review through the articles for creation process, or you're also more than welcome to message me directly, and I'd be more than happy to move it for you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions for me or if I can help in any way! OhKayeSierra (talk) 04:09, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

Speedy delete candidate Folkguitarjim

Folkguitarjim (talk) Why would you delete my page?Censorship? All my information that i have given are facts.

@Folkguitarjim: I was not the one who deleted your page; Fastily did. However, I was the one that nominated it-- so I can answer for you. The reason that your page was deleted by Fastily is because the page had links to your social media profiles, yet you didn't make any edits other than to your user page. It led me to believe that you were using Wikipedia as a web host, which is something that one is not allowed to do, as per WP:NOTWEBHOST. However, now that you've removed the social media profiles, I think you're in good shape. Helen (let’s talk) 01:49, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

Lockheed YO-3

Hi Helen,

I was involved with the Army-Lockheed YO-3A "Quiet Star" in Vietnam. I am the historian for the Quiet Aircraft Association whose members were directly involved with the YO-3A airplane and its development, deployment, and post-Vietnam uses. The title of the article should read: Lockheed YO-3A "Quiet Star"

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Tagging redirects for deletion

Hello, Helen,

Whenever you move a page from main space to draft space, could you tag the original page for deletion (CSD R2)? There shouldn't be redirects from main space to draft space or, actually, any other namespace. There is a list that comes out about pages that have been draftified but it's quicker if editors just tag the redirects. Thank you! Liz Read! Talk! 01:39, 13 July 2021 (UTC)

Hi Helen, I just wanted to let you know that I deprecated and reverted a pending edit you approved at Naroda Patiya massacre. It was a disruptive edit of the kind which originally caused the page to have pending changes protection applied (removal of sourced information about the Hindu extremist groups responsible). @Jr8825: Facepalm Oops. Thanks for letting me know. Helen(💬📖) 01:21, 20 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello, Helen,

I'm just sharing this because I know you want to learn but before you tag suspicious pages for deletion (like an empty page like this one was), look into the page's edit history. In this case, this page was a redirect that a relatively new editor blanked. So, it really just needed to be reverted back to the original state rather than deleted. If an editor disagrees with a redirect, it's appropriate to nominate it for deletion at WP:RFD, not to blank a page and have it deleted.

Take care and have a good weekend! Liz Read! Talk! 03:18, 24 July 2021 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Luca Unbehaun requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. No problem. Note you can use a dedicated email address for your Wikipedia account (many users do), and also that outgoing mail from Special:EmailUser does not reveal your email address to the recipient. Alternatively can use IRC to contact admins and report abuse, if that's better. I only ask you not discuss this particular LTA (and private filters in general) here on the wiki, especially on talk pages of admins who they frequently troll. They are watching our conversations and can adapt accordingly, hence why email or IRC is better. Best, MusikAnimal talk 20:45, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Direct, reliable sources needed for Days of the Year pages

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct reliable sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without a reliable source as a reference are now being reverted on-sight.

Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.

@Xx78900:, I just had another look-see at the article and it is fantastic. After reviewing it against the different criteria, I upgraded it to B-class. Keep up the good work! Helen(💬📖) 18:32, 8 August 2021 (UTC)

Creating User boxes

@AnonymousMeh: I like to use Help:Userbox Maker for creating the box. I found it very easy to operate, since the instructions are very clear. BFIT Group of Institutions Wikipedia Page Deletion

Hello Sir/Madam

I would want to know that what things can I do to improve the Wikipedia page & save it from getting deleted. Could you please suggest the required changes that I need to do? My page is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BFIT_Group_of_Institutions

@Webdesignerbfit: Hello! The reason that I nominated the page for deletion is because the information provided wasn't supported by reliable sources independent of the subject. The two sources provided were the school's online profiles. In order to save this article from deletion, you need to find significant coverage of the school by sources not affiliated with it. To show notability, you need to show what others have to say about the school, not what the school has to say about itself. Happy editing! Helen(💬📖) 18:14, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

I need your help.

Hi thank you for your message on my talk page. Can you help me with the Article Rishton Ka Manjha 2021 as there is a main cast Ayan Nayak as the person doesn't have any article. Can you create a redirect page Rishton Ka Manjha 2021 on the person, as I am not autoconfirmed user yet. খানকির চালে (talk) 23:09, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

@খানকির চালে: Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to me. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to create Ayan Nayak, as it is protected from creation so only administrators can make it. I would recommend making this request at the Teahouse; quite a few administrators patrol there-- they'll be able to better assist. I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help here, but feel free to message me if you have any more questions. I'll do the best I can to answer them, and if I don't know the answer, I'll try to find someone who does. Helen(💬📖) 01:18, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
@HelenDegenerate: I don't know that much about Wikipedia Taehouse. I would be glad if you can do this for me by talking to an administrator. খানকির চালে (talk) 01:55, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

@HelenDegenrate: I hope I'm not wasting your precious time many people finding problem to find Rishton Ka Manjha (2021). It will help many people who watch the show if you change the page title name Rishton Ka Manjha (2021) to Rishton Ka Manjha. খানকির চালে (talk) 02:07, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

But I don't understand why an user added notability tag. Where I should improve the article খানকির চালে (talk) 02:27, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

@খানকির চালে: Hi again! The notability tag was added because the user was worried that were wasn't enough coverage of the subject to warrant its own article. You can help improve it by finding reliable secondary sources. Reliable secondary sources are not affiliated with the subject of the article-- so no advertisements, press releases, and the like. We want what other people have to say about the TV show, not what the TV show has to say about itself. Helen(💬📖) 17:58, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello bonadea I saw your concern. I requested to create an redirect page for Ayan Nayak as the entity doesn't have any articles. And I saw many users try to create fake articles. But I did everything by asking senior and more experienced Wikipedian as you think me as an Sockpuppet of AmonymousIndiaz I don't know how to solve. And say you saw my first edit was on Aanchal Goswami it is because I don't want to edit on Wikipedia without any knowledge about the article. I will not not work on Draft:Rishton Ka Manjha from now. But it's a request to move the article to the mainpage of Wikipedia as I think the references are valid and also kindly check and approve for google index if you think the article I created is genuine. Sorry for vandalism?

First off I just want to apologize for my edits on the page "Tetsu" , it was a joke.

But I am confused because I thought the sandbox page was a page that I could mess with and mess around on. So thats why I was editing what I edited lol

Hello @Bayouu:, the sandbox edit was reverted because of the link to the Twitch channel. It appeared as if you were trying to promote the channel, and Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion. However, you are correct that sandboxes give you more leeway in what you write than most other places on Wikipedia— sandboxes are used for making editing tests so that you don’t make test edits in the middle of articles, as our readers find that disruptive.

If you’re interested in learning to contribute, I’d check out Wikipedia:A primer for newcomers to familiarise yourself with policies. You can ask questions about editing at the Teahouse; friendly editors patrol it all the time and answer questions. Warmly, Helen(💬📖) 16:11, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Your userboxes

How do I create userboxes (well, they aren't userboxes, but serve the same purpose as userboxes) as you have on the top-right of your account? Is that something Wikipedia automatically does, because it looks nice. Thank you. Kurt Hartman 10:29, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

@State Investigator Kurt Hartman: Hi there! The little pictures at the top of my user page are called topicons. In my experience, topicons are used by editors to show that they have access to a certain tool (e.g. rollback), or that they wrote a good or featured article. I'm not sure how to make one myself, but there are already a large amount of prefabricated ones. Happy editing! Helen(💬📖) 22:48, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

Only warning: Political rhetoric and BLP violations in edit summaries

"True" is an endorsement of the sentiment "any person with a sound mind would say 'fuck Joe Biden'", etched into that page's history. That is an outrageous misuse of an edit summary to spread political rhetoric and insult a living person. You've been here long enough to know better, so please consider this your only warning. Future politically-slanted violations of WP:BLP and WP:NOTFORUM will go to ANI or AE. Furthermore:

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hey

I know we haven't interacted much, but I noticed that you were feeling discouraged - just wanted to let you know that I and I'm sure many others appreciate your help around here. Elli (talk | contribs) 22:53, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

Thank you @Elli:; it means a lot to hear that. Tbh ever since I got a scary-looking warning yesterday, I haven't felt right, even though I'm still not sure what I did wrong. Once again, thank you for your support. I'll try my best to bounce back soon. Helen(💬📖) 23:06, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
@HelenDegenerate: totally get that - discretionary sanction warnings look quite a lot scarier than they actually are. As long as you remain calm and neutral, avoid edit warring, etc - you should be fine. Discretionary sanctions basically mean "Wikipedia's rules are more strictly enforced in these topics" - so as long as you make sure to follow them, you should be fine. Elli (talk | contribs) 23:08, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi Helen. My intention wasn't to scare you, but rather to make you aware of a fairly serious policy violation. If my explanation was unclear, I'm happy to try explaining again. I do hope you stay, though. Everyone makes mistakes, and I've gotten a few warnings too in my time. What matters is learning from them. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 23:15, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Hey @Tamzin:, I'm sorry if I did something wrong-- you're correct that I've been here for a few months now, but I'm still far from memorising every policy verbatim (I've never even heard of WP:NOTFORUM). However, I promise that my edit summary was made in good faith-- I wasn't trying to spread any political rhetoric. A trick that I use with POV pushers is affirming their beliefs when I revert them so they don't feel like I'm the enemy. And it works most of the time; they almost never try to restore their edits. I'm not trying to use this as an excuse if I did do something wrong, but I just figured I should explain my reasoning. Helen(💬📖) 23:32, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi, Helen. Sorry for the slow response here. Making POV-pushers feel heard can sometimes be a useful tactic—I've tried it myself a few times, although only in cases where I genuinely did agree with someone's POV—but you have to be careful that, in doing so, you don't violate any of our policies. I don't like taking a harsh tone like I did above, and I'll AGF and take your explanation at face value, but I do want to emphasize how important the policies in play are here. You can't use an edit summary that boils down to "fuck Joe Biden", regardless of whether you actually believe that.
I understand that getting in trouble (or potentially getting in trouble—I'm not an admin, after all) on Wikipedia is scary. Every now and then, I'll have just done something I'm a bit unsure of, and I'll go to open an edit window, and the thought will pop into my head as it loads, "What if I'm blocked?" Because that happened to me, about a month and a half into my time as an editor, and it stays with me. And I'm no shining example of how to respond well to a warning. I took a 2+23-year wikibreak over a single warning for edit warring. I'd never want anyone to react that way to any warning I give. The point of a warning is to warn, in hopes of avoiding a recurrence of the conduct at issue.
If you, like I, don't like conflict, then the best way to avoid it on Wikipedia is to make sure you understand how things work—both the actual policies, and the things that tend to just be, well, bad ideas. NOTFORUM—and really all of WP:NOT—is an important policy to understand. WP:BLP is probably our most important specialized policy. And knowing the WP:DSTOPICS is good, both for their policy implications, and because they're a good indicator of which topics one should tread most lightly on.
If there's any questions I can answer for you, please do let me know. You're clearly a determined, enthusiastic editor, and I think you have a lot of potential here. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 01:52, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
Helen, although I've never received a discretionary warning, I have endured my fair share of bullying here, so all I wanted to say was, I have seen some of your work and it is awesome, please keep doing what you're doing and don't be discouraged in any way. Best, StonyBrook (talk) 07:47, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

Help with userboxes

Hello!! I'm sorry to clutter your page with another message, but I wanted to see if I could get help with constructing my userpage. I want to add more userboxes and put them into categories, kind of like the way you did; are there any resources you could provide to assist with this? I appreciate any help you can give! Thank you in advance! :) Spf121188 (talk) 15:25, 27 October 2021 (UTC)

Hi @Spf121188: there's no need to apologise for messaging me; I like helping people out. I used this template to sort my userboxes-- it's quite simple to set up. There are only two basic parameters you need to fill out: the parameter|1= is where you put the userboxes in, and |2= is to set the name of the category (e.g. novelty userboxes). For creating a custom userbox, I recommend Help:Userbox Maker. Happy editing! Helen(💬📖) 23:44, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
Awesome! I'll give those a look and let you know if I need help. Thank you again!! :) Spf121188 (talk) 12:42, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
One more question... On my userpage, I would like the third userbox from the bottom to be formatted the same way as the three above it, basically noting "This user is a fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers" with the navy blue and gold colors. Is there anything you can provide that would help me with that by chance? I haven't really created a userbox yet, just used templates. Thank you so much for your help! Spf121188 (talk) 17:58, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
@Spf121188: The reason why the Mountaineers userbox is larger than the others was because the user who created it made it larger. I don't feel comfortable editing a userbox that someone else created, so I created the same userbox in my userspace but made it the same size as your other userboxes. Just copy and paste this onto your page and you'll be good to go: {{User:HelenDegenerate/Userboxes/WestVirginiaMountaineers}} Helen(💬📖) 19:05, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
