- @Usimite, All of the cited sources are SPONSORED, I also have a question. Why are you promoting this person? As you created the article with majorly SPONSORED articles cited.
- Sponsored articles are totally unreliable to cite. The subject totally fails WP:GNG as there are no reliable independent sources mentiones anything about the subject!
- Read WP:SPONSORED. Grabup (talk) 08:06, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

- @Usimite, the sources you cited were considered as generally reliable if there is no indication of the article to be a sponsored article. For example, Hindustan Times is considered as generally reliable source but the article you cited from Hindustan Times is clearly mentioned at the end that the article is Sponsored. April 2024
Hello Grabup. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at Flumish dialect. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), patent nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. Nahit
While looking through CAT:CSD today, I very recently declined your g6 nomination of Nahit as it was already a disambiguation page (albeit a pretty tenuous one at that, with only two items). If your draft Draft:Nahit gets accepted, I'd suggest that it should be published at a different title (eg Nahit, West Bengal or Nahit, India) and then have that be listed as a third item on the dab. Grabup (talk) 16:59, 11 May 2024 (UTC)Speedy deletion declined: Draft:Stefaniia Shabatura
Hello Grabup. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Draft:Stefaniia Shabatura, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not an unambiguous copyright infringement, or there is other content to save. If I missed something please let me know, but I'm seeing almost no actual matches with the URL you provided (before or after the user changed some of the text). Thank you. Primefac (talk) 07:05, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Primefac, At the time I tagged it for CSD, I found some similarities, like the Draft first line was saying "Stefaniia Shabatura was born on November 5, 1938, in the village of Ivane-Zolote in the Ternopil region, Ukraine. Her father first served in the Polish army, but after the occupation of Western Ukraine by Soviet troops in 1939, he was drafted into the Soviet army" and the interview link mentioned"I was born on November 5, 1938. Those were difficult times for Ukraine. My father served then in the Polish army, because we were under Poland. And then Ukraine had its short-living chance. All of it ended very soon: the Soviet troops invaded these lands and occupying Western Ukraine they told that they came to liberate us from Poland. Then my dad again went to serve in the Army, but this time it was Soviet Army,",
- Also, the article was looking like it was copy and pasted from somewhere else which led me to tag this article for G12, as there are these unused citation styles found at the article " he came here and went with us.'[2]", " So I got my education.'[1]",
- After digging more into it, I found this in Ukrainian language, If you translate it and see, It is the shorter version of the Artist and camp section of the article.
- Conclusion is, It is not total copy paste but there are some portions which are looking like copy past. I think is ok to keep it. Grabup (talk) 07:48, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation. I will give it another look. Primefac (talk) 08:32, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
Draft:Tixel (company)
Hi @Grabup,
Thanks for reviewing the recent article submission. I have resubmitted the page "Draft:Tixel (company)" and made the following improvements based on your recent comment: "More independent, reliable sources needed with in-depth coverage of the subject."
- Added more in-depth information, including awards won by the company and an Infobox Company template.
- Included additional reputable citations, such as an Australian government agency's website and The Australian (owned by News Corp Australia).
Upon creating the page, it may encourage more Wikipedia users to contribute, enriching the article and making it more diverse and comprehensive. Bracedluthier (talk) 23:13, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Grabup. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – robertsky (talk) 19:07, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi GrabUp! You left a suggestion on this article some time ago. The reviewers do not look at the sources. It is a film director. Most of the sources have as title the name of the film. However, every source speaks about the work of the director, award her film received and the recognition she gained. All are extremely respectable- the Guardian, Deadline, Variety and others. Also, there are sources from theaters about her career in theater and cinema as an actress. Understand many editors do not have time to actually open the sources and check, but it is a page about the film director. Demeter39G (talk) 20:50, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Demeter39G, Done, Upon review, I found that the subject fails WP:GNG due to a lack of in-depth coverage from multiple independent reliable sources. However, the subject has directed a notable film, "Who I Am Not," which makes her notable according to WP:DIRECTOR. GrabUp - Talk 05:43, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your assistance! Demeter39G (talk) 05:46, 24 May 2024 (UTC)

Saraalutz (talk) 07:26, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi Grabup! Thanks for your feedback. Can you be more specific about what edits are needed on the draft: Debbie Matthews? In what way is it not formal or sourced, etc?
Appreciate your insight.
- @Saraalutz: The article’s subject has no in-depth coverage from multiple independent reliable sources to establish notability. Interviews can’t make her notable. Additionally, the article looks promotional to me. For example: “Throughout her career, Matthews achieved success both as an amateur and professional racer,” and “Debbie Matthews (born 1958) is a notable figure in the world of motocross.” These types of writing tones are not encyclopedic and suggest an attempt to promote her. Furthermore, the article contains unused citation tags, which look odd. GrabUp - Talk 07:39, 25 May 2024 (UTC)

GrabUp - Talk 11:53, 5 June 2024 (UTC)i saw you declined Draft:Hinagahime and asked why she's notable. That's fair enough. I thought she was notable as she was most likely a Yōkai. And the wife of Homutsuwake no Mikoto, even playing a small part in his story. If you have considered it, let me know if I should put it up for review again. Camillz (talk) 18:34, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Camillz: I don’t think she meets WP:GNG or other criteria for notability. You can submit it, and another reviewer will review it. GrabUp - Talk 00:02, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Alrighty I'll resubmit it and we'll see what another reviewer says. Camillz (talk) 16:00, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
June 2024
I've blocked you from editing WP:PERM for the next three months because your participation at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/New page reviewer has become disruptive and you are not listening when admins there tell you that they will not grant your request. We are grateful that you want to help with new pages patrol, but the answer is no for now and it's better that you focus on other areas. After the block expires you are free to make PERM requests again but please do try to take into account the advice that you have been given there already. – Joe (talk) 14:21, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Joe Roe: Can you share their answer to my original question? I simply asked what the problems behind my decline were other than “Moving Quickly.” They did not answer my question at all. If I had received an answer, I would not have gone to the PERM. If my motive was to get NPP quickly, why would I have gone to Extraordinary for feedback? I could have gone directly to PERM (which I think I should have done). I am happy to review Drafts with AfC, but if there is no valid reason behind my decline, why am I not allowed to question it? They did not answer which WP:NPPCRITERIA I didn’t meet. Do you think they really determined my experience by my work or just relied on Extraordinary’s views at the time of declining? Who said, “The request will be seen by another admin and determine experience,” which means Extraordinary did not do a deep check at the time of his feedback. If I had received my answer, I would not have added any replies to the PERM, but they just declined because of a non-deep check by Extraordinary. Also, I went to The Night Watcher for an “independent” feedback, but Josh went there and shared Extraordinary’s view, which he can’t deny as Extraordinary is an experienced admin. What I wanted was an independent and deeper review, which I failed to get. I think I could have been given a trial as other editors are getting. Thanks for the block. GrabUp - Talk 14:39, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- @ScottishFinnishRadish, @Liz, @Bbb23, @Valereee, @Robertsky: Is this not an abuse of Administrator’s tools? They have not given me any valid reason behind the decline of my PERM. They are just relying on Extraordinary’s views, who recommended waiting and also said, "It's up to you when you want to make the PERM request; the reviewing admin (who won't be me) will decide at that point whether you have enough experience." I don’t have an issue with waiting, and I am happy with AfC, but if I am ready for the tool and have shown much more experience that required for NPP as per WP:NPPCRITERIA, why are they not willing to give me a trial of one month? If they don’t have time to check my work and determine my experience, they should have ignored my request, but declining based on a superficial check is not fair. They have not answered my question about which WP:NPPCRITERIA I fail to meet, and now I am blocked for questioning. If they had answered me after a thorough check and recommended specific work, I would have happily done that. Does questioning admins lead to bans on Wikipedia? If this is true, then I apologize for the questioning. Thanks. GrabUp - Talk 15:11, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Wasting time with repeated requests after being declined leads to blocks. The way to demonstrate that you're not going to disruptively waste more time isn't to ping a bunch of admins and have them waste their time as well. Not liking an answer doesn't mean ask the other parent for the permissions. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:16, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Grabup, what ScottishFinnishRadish said about asking the other parent is right. I know how perhaps desperate you're to patrol new pages but the rights are granted with care so that at the end of the day, there will be less complain about your patrolling. Staying a bit time will show your patience and acceptance to other peoples opinion; those questions about your reviewing you will still receive in your talk page. Clam down, breathe and adhere to what have been said to you. Also pinging many admins is not good at all, it rather bugs one as a human. I would advice you keep on with your content creation, AFDs, and AFC reviewing to show an experienced track record that any later reviewing admin can say "yes, you are good to go." The words you use is not encouraging and with the grat bad energy, one may be reluctant giving you the right. Admins are volunteers like you and it will be upon them when you may misuse the right. Everything is just being careful. As for now I wouldn't say anybody is angry with you but participation can show you have adhere, and in not less than two–three months, you may have the trial right. It's not easy, safe editing. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 19:39, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

- I came here after seeing your AFC reviews, and found that you've been blocked from requesting permissions. First of all let me note that you are a highly productive editor who has ensured that neutrality and factual information should stay even on some of the most controversial South Asian articles. I would say you should forget about permissions for now or for a longer period. They are ultimately useless and they will never affect your editing. Ratnahastin (talk) 09:22, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
BPP University profile merge
Hi @Grabup
Thanks for getting in touch. This deletion was part of a merge proposal, which I had highlighted on the Talk page on 21 March: Talk:BPP University
This is to better represent the BPP group of businesses and to create a profile for the institution which is more in line with those of other academic institutions: BPP Holdings
Would be great to hear your feedback and any suggestions.
With thanks Deputy Dean at BPP (talk) 15:47, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Deputy Dean at BPP: Thanks for the message! I want to know why you are merging it when it can have a standalone article. GrabUp - Talk 15:57, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Request
GrabUp (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I don't really know how or why I became so upset about this, but at that point, I was really frustrated because of the decline and the lack of evaluation of my work. Anyway, I understand that the administrators were not willing to grant me the specific rights for certain reasons, and I deeply apologize to everyone, including Joe, Josh, Ingenuity, and anyone else I pinged and whose time I wasted. I want to be unblocked not because I am seeking any new permissions (PERM) like NPP or any other permissions right now. I don't know why Joe blocked me from every PERM, such as Rollback, where I am in a trial, and after the end of the trial, I would have to apply again. This block on every PERM will really hinder my ability to improve Wikipedia. I again apologize to everyone involved and promise that I will not create any mess like this in the future, even if my PERM gets declined next time. If I am still not deemed worthy of being unblocked, at least unblock me from other PERMS or just unblock me from the Rollback PERM. Thank you. GrabUp - Talk 15:54, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Frankly, I see no benefit to the project allowing you to make these requests over the next three months. You say you understand why the admins were not willing to grant you specific permissions. You say you are not seeking any new permissions at this time. Great. So there's no need to lift the block. Yamla (talk) 16:00, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hi Grabup , One Humble Request to You
Hi Grabup I would like to humbly request you that you have put a request to remove or delete the Wikipedia page of Hariballabh Narayan Singh by proving it false, but you do not know anything about that Indian Hindi writer Hariballabh Narayan Singh. According to the information received from Google / Internet Archive and more reliable sources, Hariballabh Narayan Singh is a reputed writer of Indian Hindi language who has written many books in Hindi language, he has written a commentary book on Hindi grammar named Sugam Hindi Vyakaran Evam Rachna and he has also written many books like:Shiksha Vichar Manthan etc. You should once take information from reliable sources and I humbly request you to please withdraw or cancel the request you have put to remove the Wikipedia page of Hariballabh Narayan Singh. Thank you. Archivehindu (talk) 18:23, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion contested: Draft:Esteban Klor
Hello Grabup. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Draft:Esteban Klor, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Can be easily cleaned up. Thank you. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:51, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- I tagged the article because it was just copy pasted from the about page by just replacing “I” to his name or “He”. Thanks for your msg, I will leave it to you. GrabUp - Talk 18:38, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
I do not find this critic notable. I find the page on this critic to be for promotional purpose. Opinion? RangersRus (talk) 00:33, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- @RangersRus: I also could not see meeting WP:GNG and WP:JOURNALIST here. You can nominate the article for deletion. GrabUp - Talk 01:43, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- The award “Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards,” which is given every year to at least 20 people, does not seem exclusive enough to me to meet WP:ANYBIO criteria, but someone could challenge this. GrabUp - Talk 02:02, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

- I think we just differ about which side of the border this one is on. You and I are as capable of being wrong as right because we are fallible human beings. Fortunately we have a community which we serve who guide us, sometimes in very peculiar directions!
- I think we each have the right to argue with passion where we are not in some way involved. And we both agree that this is not one of those occasions. The earth will not cease to spin on its axis whatever the outcome of the discussion.
