RE the last message

Hi Glen. I would consider that to be vandalism as the section was blanked unnecessarily. How is that not vandalism? I'm not trying to say "I'm right, I'm right!!" but I am confused and would like to know in order to learn. Thanks Paralympiakos (talk) 01:12, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Fair enough then. I was unsure whether that person's edits were in good faith or just troublemaking, but fair enough. I'm a little unsure of the difference too between editing the example you gave and constantly removing the Michael Bisping vandalism.

As for you going, that's awesome! I was at 105. Being there live is just incredible and that particular card looks stacked up. I appreciate the advice and help anyway! Paralympiakos (talk) 01:37, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

105 was great, but the prelims were even better. If you've not seen it, look for Dennis Siver's TKO of Paul Kelly. That shot was brutal! To be honest, with Bisping, I'm not a huge fan. I was rooting for him to win, but most people in England are falling out of love with him as they realise he's actually not that good. His punches are like little needles in that there isn't much power to them but they're annoying enough for his opponents. I love that article name and sadly, it's true. As for TUF9, it may be domestic bias, but I wasn't bothered by it. He gave as good as he got and the real pain was DaMarques Johnson. Btw, Dan Hardy for the win! He's my absolute favourite fighter of all. Paralympiakos (talk) 02:15, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

the answer to your question is yes, I did research it, and I was left feeling that A7 applied. I would not argue if you felt that this was a wrong decision - most of us make those occasionally. I am not sure that I agree that consideration of time since posting is necessarily relevant, and for that matter I am not certain that everything that CNN report on is automatically made notable thereby. But having said that, I am wholly happy to see the article restored if you wish. But not the final deleted version, which contains exraneous and inappropriate commnents made about the article rather than about the subject of the article. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 12:39, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Glen, you are clearly saying as firmly as you feel able politely to do, that the article should not have been A7'd. I have no wish at all to dispute this, and have restored the article. i will, of course, take no further part in its evolution. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 20:04, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Glen, admin Nihonjoe just deleted it again. I am no longer involved; take it up with him if you wish. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 21:47, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Zumba, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zumba. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 06:08, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

A request for help

Hi Glen, a few days ago, you said I could come to you if there were vandals disrupting UFC articles or any articles for that matter. At the moment, there seems to be a user with a vendetta against me. This user is User:Mwarcn and keeps leaving insults on my talk page and reinstating them when I remove them. I have left warnings to encourage this to stop, but it seems to be having no effect. I was wondering if you could lend a hand, as an admin, to prevent this. If so, that would be much appreciated. Thanks Paralympiakos (talk) 22:00, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello Glen! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 120 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Done. Thanks for the reminder - forgotten I'd created that page some years ago! Glen 19:44, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Admin Coaching: Reconfirmation

I was looking through the coaches at Wikipedia:Admin_coaching/Status and saw that there are a lot under "reconfirmation".

Could you let me know if you are still interesting in being involved with Admin Coaching, or if you would prefer to have your name removed from the "reconfirmation" list and placed on the "retired" list. If you want to be involved, could you please move your entry from "Reconfirmation" to "Active" and indicate how many students you would be willing to have (obviously, if you are actively coaching at the moment, then please indicate this!)

If I do not hear from you within a week, I will assume that you would like to have your name removed from the list of coaches and moved to the retired list.

Fair use rationale for File:Danduchaine.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Danduchaine.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 12:19, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of Backstreet (Transformers) for deletion

A discussion has begun about whether the article Backstreet (Transformers), which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Backstreet (Transformers) until a concensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Black Kite (t) (c) 18:24, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
