Off the ground
I have formally accepted the nomination, I've just got to fill in the other details. Once again, G1ggy, thank you for you nomination and your kind words. Cheers, Dfrg.msc 05:42, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- P.S, I love your debating quotes, check this out, I found it whilst on Patrol, I use them all the time!
- Thanks, I've finished the second question, and I'm on to the third. Yes, they do get a work around. I find that P.O.I'ing: "I'd like to be on you". Works absolutely fantastically on even the most confident speakers. Cheers! Dfrg.msc 06:36, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- I'm just opening all my e-mail programs and addresses, I can't remeber which one I put for Wikipedia. It could take a while. I've just finished the last question. Here she is: {{Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Dfrg.msc}}. Put her in G1ggy! Dfrg.msc 06:52, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- That email just didnt' come. I wonder why? Horay! Were all online at the same time! Dfrg.msc 07:21, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hey Alex, sorry about the huge delay, I'm absolutely bogged down. The e-mail came in the end, I'm sorry I don't have any IM programs, and even if I did, I wouldn't get time to use them. They say RfA is a harsh process, that's probably the most verifiable fact on Wikipedia. I'm exhausted now, but it stall has five more days. E-mail works, but slowly, if you need anything at all, just contact me. Cheers, Dfrg.msc 13:09, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

re:WP: S GAMES
I'm guessing you are refering to "How does one define which articles are top, high, mid, and low importance? There are a lot that aren't assessed, and I'd like to run a backlog drive, but I'm not clear on which is which....". The discussion was between me and Big O here. The inclusion is based on important articles and a few well written ones, so base the importance of the inclusion on the quality and the notablity of the article. You'll find a lot of random and weird games, most of which are low. It might be good to have an entire wikiproject discussion on it.--Clyde (talk) 01:38, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- Pretty much yeah. I just sort of feel my way through. When you see an article, you'll know. If not, you could ask someone or everyone, you'll get help.--Clyde (talk) 02:46, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
If you recall correctly I said nearly. :P Have fun in business. BTW this isn't very wikipediaish... --Martian.knight 02:53, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- I found out it was Maths. Just as much work here too. --Martian.knight 02:56, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Aw shucks
And have been having a bad day real life and wiki = thanks for that - may your weekend glow with positivity and enjoyment beyond your wildest dreams (well I suppose that depends) - cheers SatuSuro 10:32, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey G1ggy
Just logged in and saw your message, thanks. I've been doing some edits on the Powderfinger project today as you've probably noticed. Let me know if I'm not doing anything right, but hopefully my edits are worthwhile :-) . Feel free to leave messages on my talk page. Slabba 06:17, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments. It was a bit of bad luck that the "Dream Days" page didn't get a GA rating, will have to wait a little longer and add more info to it I guess. Not to worry. Cheers. Slabba 04:45, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- I probably won't be doing too much more work on the project in the coming weeks as I'm gonna be pretty busy in the next few weeks. So I'll let you guys handle the files etc. When I can, I'll try and update the pages though. Slabba 05:26, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

As a newish Wikipedian, I was encouraged to continue contributing to the WPProjectBrisbane by your positive comment on my talkpage. I feel that the Welcome Committee, or such activity, is of great value to WP. Newbyguesses 07:20, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Your Editor Review
I added my review, and hopefully this comment will encourage others to do so as well (hem hem!) Dfrg.msc 23:41, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- Man it's fun out there on the RfA trail. At least mine's the only one with a Pile-on Support at the start. Nice work, Dfrg.msc 08:52, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the RfA looked good until about half an hour ago. Dfrg.msc 06:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
YechielMan's RFA
Thank you for participating in either of my unsuccessful requests for adminship. Although the experience was frustrating, it showed me some mistakes I was making, and I hope to learn from those mistakes.
Please take a few minutes to read User:YechielMan/Other stuff/RFA review and advise me how to proceed. Best regards. YechielMan 21:32, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Your GA fail on Tyranitar
You failed this GA nomination (Talk:Tyranitar) because "one (or more) images do not contain detailed fair use rationales". Which images? They all had rationales long before your note, and if you found those rationales lacking, the editors probably need to know why. Gimmetrow 05:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Adminship
Hey there G1ggy. Thanks for your comments. If you were offering to nom me, I'm going to have to turn you down. If you think I should nom myself, I'm not planning to do that for awhile. As you know, editors with under 6 months experience don't usually fair well in rfas. I actually asked Husond to coach me, and he said yes. Thanks for your comments. It is always nice to be appreciated. --Tλε Rαnδоm Eδιτоr 19:21, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose per Q3 answer. An admin can't just take 5 days off because of a stressful incident.
Somewhere along the line, you forgot that this is a voluntary project – Gurch 19:50, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- I probably worded that comment wrong. What I was trying to say was that in MY opinion (remember, I don't have to agree with everyone), it's not a good sign to abandon the article, and the conflict, just because it bothers you. As a sysop, (I assume) you won't be able to shy away from conflict and let someone else deal with it, and that was my concern. By the way, is there a reason you didn't bring this up with BG, who opposed for the same reason? G1ggy! Review me! 22:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, because I know you, have some degree of respect for you, and expected better.
- I reiterate that everyone here contributes voluntarily in their own time, and nobody, administrator or not, is required to do anything. Contributors are not only able but encouraged to do whatever they feel is necessary to avoid issues within the project affecting their real lives; the last thing they need is for any problems they may have to be compounded by a stressful situation here. Furthermore, people fit their contributions to this project around real-life concerns and can easily disappear for a day, a week or several months before returning; often at short notice. I sincerely hope you wouldn't hold anything against a user who was involved in an accident and hospitalized for five days, and therefore unable to participate in a discussion in which they were involved. The same principle should apply no matter what the reason for their absence may be, as any concern – including a break to reduce stress – that affects a user's life is far more important to them than this project, administrator or not.
- Insisting that a user may not take time off from the project is unlikely to have a beneficial effect – indeed, it may eventually lead thm to stop contributing altogether. Bear in mind also that opposition to adminship is quite a strong statement – you are effectively saying that you do not trust the user – and try not to hold another user to a standard which you yourself could not achieve. Thanks – Gurch 22:38, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- I am not suggesting that leaving the project for real life concerns is bad. I'm not condemning, or complaining, about wikibreaks, etc. However, neither of the cases mentioned are relevant to this case. I opposed this on case basis, not a blanket oppose, because I didn't think highly of the user taking what I considered "the easy way out" in a conflict. They didn't do it because of a real life concern, and I would've voted differently had that been the case. G1ggy! Review me! 22:44, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- As you must surely be aware, real life has many stressful situations. The last thing someone wants is a difficult day at work only to have to come home and deal with this place. If that's more than they can take, they're not exactly going to quit their job in favour of Wikipedia, are they? Please understand that stressful situations here can have repercussions outside the project. I will happily discuss this matter further, complete with examples from personal experience, via a private and confidental method of communication should you so wish – Gurch 22:55, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Adminship Nomination
Thanks for the offer G1ggy! I was considering adminship since quite some time ago, and a reviewer at my editor review, had stated that adminship for me would be reasonable sometime in June if I continued at my current pace, and, apparantly, it´s June alright... Well, thanks again for the offer; my answer is yes. ♠Tom@sBat 20:59, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

- No joke. This is my first barnstar (BTW this is the second weirdest award I've given. I've also awarded someone a high five.) In regards to RFA, I must respectfully decline. I do not have enough experience with XFDs or vandalism yet, so I wouldn't have much use for the tools they would give me. Plus, I've done some other...weird stuff when I was a new user that would probably smack me down in an RFA. Personally, I don't think I'm ready. If I do, I would be honored to have you as a nominator though.--Clyde (talk) 00:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. Something to think about. Maybe I'll do some more metapedian stuff in the future.

My approval
Erm... happiness level? I think there's something I'm not aware of... Anyways, I don't like being called a "noob", and am therefore considerably less happy, while being significantly more annoyed. The truth is, I'm not a noob (at croquet at least), and I recommend you read The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy to find more similar truths (such as the Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything), which make absolutely no sense whatsoever, but are still The TruthTM. Dismissed. · AndonicO Talk 00:26, 6 June 2007 (UTC) By the way, I do not play croquet, and it was my pleasure to review Age of Mythology; I've been waiting ages for an RTS to be put up for review. :) And I apologize for rambling so much on unimportant topics (I've been reading too much of the aforementioned book: curse it, it was too short...). See you around!
- Inspired randomness my friend... By the way, I'm on MSN now (though for only another 10 minutes or so probably), in case you'd like to talk about the randomness of the best book ever published by... oh no, forgot the publishing companies name... · AndonicO Talk 00:33, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Found it! The "Great Publishing Houses of Ursa Minor". By the way, I'll be on a bit longer than 10 minutes now... · AndonicO Talk 00:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, don't have it, sorry. I only use MSN as andonicowp<at>hotmail<dot>(com), and AIM as AndonicO. By the way, the symbols in the e-mail address are to prevent spam (I did it to yours on my talk page too, to save you the trouble :)). · AndonicO Talk 00:30, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Re. Coachin'
Hello G1ggy. I've just quickly perused your edit count and contributions. I currently don't have much to add to what I've already said at your Coach subpage. You continue to do a very good job but you must increase your participation in project space. More vandalfight (=more reports to WP:AIV and more requests for protection at WP:RPP) would certainly help. More participation in WP:XFD would also look good. Apart from this, not much to add really (that's why I'm commenting here instead of in your review). I think that I shall make a new, more exhaustive review of your participation once you've reached 3000 edits. The questions would also be more adequate then. Anyway, allow me to applaud your excellent work so far. :-) Best regards, Húsönd 01:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, WP:XFD consist of all deletion debates sorted by space. Naturally, WP:AFD might be regarded as the most important of all. Regards, Húsönd 18:25, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Little context in Editing Eye (Eve's Plum Single) - Preview
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Editing Eye (Eve's Plum Single) - Preview, by Agamemnon2, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Editing Eye (Eve's Plum Single) - Preview is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Editing Eye (Eve's Plum Single) - Preview, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Editing Eye (Eve's Plum Single) - Preview itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 16:02, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi again G1ggy! Just wanted to tell you a couple of things:
- I very recently withdrew my RfA, there seemed to be a lot of oppose and I recieved plenty of advise and feedback for the future, plus another user suggested me to withdraw it. Despite the results, thank you very much for nominating me and for having helped me in the process; it was really apreciated! And also, the adminship meant some good stuff too: I was able to see better how to improve my track on Wikipedia and I found out that 11 users felt I was ready for adminship; plus, many users who opposed or remained neutral advised me well and encouraged me to get a bit more of experience and eventually try again in the future (most said after a few months). So, again thanks for all of your support.
- I see that Age of Mythology´s peer review has been reviewed by AndonicO, so I might be able to help a bit in the articles progress with all those suggestions on improving it.
Again, thanks for all and happy editing, ♠Tom@sBat 21:57, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
To my nominator..
Dear Alex, I'm sorry for the late message, there's been lots to do. I regardless of the result, I can't thank you enough for the chance you have given me, and although I failed the RfA, I gained many friends.
I am not the type of editor to be disheartened by such a result, and have gained much experience. If you have anything to contribute by way of improvements or comments, please don’t hesitate to tell me.
I will run again. Kind regards, Dfrg.msc 06:39, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

- Link to the diff, I picked Theodor Mundt to do... alright, I hit the random article button and did the first one that popped up. The article listed NO references or sources at all, so I did a little bit, but since it's about 2:30 in the morning here, I've decided to go to bed. I'm going to go back to that page and improve it, but I stuck a "refimprove" template up there for the moment, until I can get some more sources there.
- Thanks a lot for helping me so far! HAL2008 06:32, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- (edit: somehow the word "link" got deleted in the above comment, my need to fix typos required me to fix it, sorry)
- OK, I got the whole thing about the <ref>...</ref> tags, and I'm going to see if I can get some more references for that article now. Oh, and just because it's funny, I found the "Adoption barnstar" yesterday... which was hidden in the abyss of barnstars, whoops!
- (edit: somehow the word "link" got deleted in the above comment, my need to fix typos required me to fix it, sorry)
Jokes! Or not...
Hi there. You placed a (very polite!) warning on my talk page. I know the article I edited might sound like a joke, but it is a real phenomenon, and all I did to edit it was remove some unsourced statement and add a fact tag to another, as far as I can remember. When you have a moment, would you kindly remove the warning as I'm sure it will be interpreted as vandalism if I do so myself. Best regards :-) 195.137.96.79 04:08, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Here's a translator you can use: http://pere.org.ua/cgi-bin/pere.cgi?han=view&wht=text&lng=en-us. You can use it to translate to Russian and then use Google, or you can translate it straight to English. As for the basics, here they are:
- A few different letters in alphabet: Ёё, Ъъ, Ыы, Ээ in Russian; Ґг, Єє, Іі, Її, Єє, and ' (apostrophe) in Ukrainian
- Adjective suffixes are different, example: -кая in Russian, -ька in Ukrainian
Not much, but most obvious differences. Hope that helps. — Alex(U|C|E) 06:35, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Adoption Tasks (RE HAL2008)
Hibiscus Children's Center has now been refitted (and expanded) with <ref>...</ref> and {{reflist}} tags, and has also been expanded, though it's my WIP page, I wasn't really able to find much more information regarding Theodor Mundt, so I decided to do it on the article I was writing. Also, regarding that article, it's not done yet, but I'm wondering what you think of it so far, just so I can get an idea. Also, should WIP articles be placed in the mainspace after a certain amount of work is done, and just have a "not done" or "under construction" template on them? Thanks! --HAL2008 talk 17:03, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'm glad that you approve, I knew that there were some NPOV problems with the article, and I wanted to fix them, but I had to go for a little while, but since it was already done minus the NPOV and minor typo issues, I figured it was ready to go into the mainspace. I didn't even notice the giant fair use rationale template before, or I would have shoved it in there! Thanks for telling me! I don't really think I'm having many signing problems anymore, unless it's something other than remembering to sign, because I have been now. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help! --HAL2008 talk 23:35, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, I undid some vandalism, and am actually currently working on some more... this user is one busy guy. on the article, user's talk page the top one is my warning. --HAL2008 talk 05:24, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks
Hello again, and thanks for removing the joke warning you understandably placed on my talk page after my edit to Exploding head syndrome. I take your point about registering here to avoid future misunderstandings. Actually the sentence in question, which you justifiably fact-tagged, was not added by me and had been lower down in the article for some time - I simply moved it. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the citation index given as sources for the article so I cannot verify that the statement is covered by those sources. The only web sources on the phemomenon I have seen may not meet wikipedia's criteria for reliable sources so i have been unable to source the statement in question. Hopefully someone with access to the cited sources will be able to do so. Thanks again for your response. Best regards, 195.137.96.79 22:47, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

RE:Your GA review for Dream Days at the Hotel Existence
I am so glad I could be of help. Many peer reviews, and other things have helped me over time so I love to help. As far as re-assessing after you make the changes, normally I would say yes, but I am currently trying to get an article to FA quality, and that is taking up much of my Wikipedia time; all other endeavors are kind of pushed to the back burner. So I would recommend renominating, as it will probably get a quicker response. Best wishes!--Esprit15d (talk ¤ contribs) 11:07, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Adoption
Sure sounds great. One or two things I feel strongly about: I really don't think trivia and criticism sections are encyclopedic, that's one of the rfirst things I noticed when I started using/editing Wikipedia. I'm a big NBA fan and like basketball, baseball, and football. Besides that I think we should be fine. Marcus Taylor 11:27, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Adoption Offer
I accept your kind offer. Navigating the various style guides, editing guides, deletion guides, etc reminded me of the first time I tried wading through the 'man' pages on my first Unix box. By the time I understood how they worked I already knew what was in them -- seemed kind of backwards to me somehow.
I signed up for the categorization project and dove in to the 500 or so articles left uncategorized from May. I must admit my first instinct on several of these was to recommend deletion, only to find upon digging into the criteria and contra-indications, as well as the history tags, that many of these stubs were holdovers from past attempts to request clean-up or deletion. What to do?
The category tree has sections in it that appear to be caught in self-referential loops where a node would have a child and a sibling of the same name and a child might have a parent or even grand-parent as a child. (e.g. internet marketing types).
I don't know whether you have a set training style (I saw a reference somewhere to someone having 'graduated' from an adoption 'program'.) or are more free form so I await your instruction. Thank you. catalexis of AZ 11:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

- P.S.: Expect that review very shortly.--Húsönd 22:59, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, here's a quick review: You need more mainspace participation (I recommend at least 1000 edits before an RFA, preferably 1500), although you have a very good mainspace-talk space ratio. If you keep it that way, there won't be any concerns of the kind - "this user is a good vandalfighter but doesn't contribute to the actual growth of Wikipedia". By the way you also need to step up your vandalfight. Your number of reports to WP:AIV is rather low, you'll raise it only by raising your vandalfight. Some participation in WP:XFD, but more is needed I believe. Here's what I suggest: every day, allow at least a few minutes to drop by at WP:XFD, as well as a few minutes to fight vandalism. A well-balanced, continuous participation in these fields will be very positive. Apart from this, I don't have any major concerns. I'll keep monitoring you until you have past 4000 edits. Then I'll make another review and might just offer to nominate you if I see you're ready. :-) So, keep up the good work! By the way, I would recommend an RFA for the end of July or, preferably, 1st of August. Best regards, Húsönd 23:45, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- P.S.: Expect that review very shortly.--Húsönd 22:59, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Vandal Fighting is tough...
Not just because they do it a lot, but good users fix it so quickly. It's not a bad thing overall, but it's tough to get to it before other people. Either way, I managed to have an internet hiccup, and for whatever reason not have my "undo" go through on Talk:Doom 3, but I did manage to give the user a warning on User_Talk:89.146.130.21. Oh, and I'm also working with WP:UW and I've created a set of warning templates for Fair Use violations. If you could take a look at them here I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for uploading Image:DreamDays.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Question about Citing
The article I'm refrencing for my first task is Captain Beefheart and the first statement I'm refrencing is at the bottom relating to the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand citing Beefheart as an influence, I've found a website backing that statement up, but it only briefly mentions that fact. Task 4 complete:
Alright I nominated Venkateshwara temple, pittsburgh, pa for a speedy delete, as it is total nonsense. I also added a CSD notice to the author's page here. It was speedy deleted, not just for that, but it was also a copyright violation (direct copy, see deletion log) Also, the AfD I started for SVG Tools (this links to the AfD archive) concluded as a delete and redirect to List of vector graphics editors. The nomination for deletion I put on the other page (please see the above notice), I do not know what to do regarding it, the PROD was removed by the author, and an explanation placed on my userpage. But the article still has no references, and most of it does not follow NPOV and has a lot of original research (since a lot of information supposedly comes from the judge himself) Anyway, thanks for your help so far, and if there's anything else I need to do for task 4, just tell me, you know where to reach me. --HAL2008 talk 19:55, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the message, although I would have preferred not to be templated like some newbie. Especially considering the article survived a previous AFD.
And for my part, I strongly suggest you withdraw this nomination. Notability is easily demonstrated; I wouldn't have created the article if I didn't think it met WP:N. There has been so much targeting of Internet phenomena articles lately that I really question the good faith of the nominators in this instance; whatever one feels about memorializing them here we have policy to prevent this sort of decision. RfA?
Hi Pedro. I just noticed, to my surprise, that you’re not an admin, and I’d like to nominate you. I think your +50 AIV reports show your great vandal fighting work, and I think you’d do really well in an RfA. What do you say? G1ggy Talk/Contribs 23:20, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi G1ggy. Your surprise is received as a large compliment! I was considering going for RfA for the following reasons. 1) Yes I do a lot of vandal reporting. I always check back at WP:AIV to see if my request for a block was correct (by checking the page history) and so far they allways have been. I don't see blocks as punitive, and I think by checking it validates my decision to report. 2) I do a lot of tagging for CAT:CSD (which doesn't show in my edit history, although the talk page "advise user of sd tag" does.) So far only one article (out of best guess 200) has not been deleted through CSD, but was subsequently deleted at AFD. I'm particulalry worried about backlogs at CSD especially for attack pages (one vehement attack page I tagged took 20 minutes to be deleted recently, and then only after a note was placed at ANI.) 3) There has been a lot of talk page (WT:RFA) discussion about learning the use for additional tools "on the job" so to speak - something I'm keen on. My edit count is now apx. 2500 so this may count against me (bah! editcounters), but I do feel that I could really use the buttons. If you're sure that your nomination of myself would not affect you adversely I'm up for it. For information this has been mentioned in passing by User:Ck lostsword to me as well, but I didn't want to ask him to nominate me, in view of WP:CANVASS Pedro | Chat 07:19, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

I Don't Remember
As to why I applied the speedy-delete tag, my first instinct was to say, "I don't remember." But that would be a bad joke. The reason was that the article was only about one sentence long, and only said something vague about airplay on a local station. It said nothing about who the song was by, nor did it have any sources cited for verification. If you have information to expand the article, you can try again.
I originally posted this message to the author's user talk page, not paying attention to the fact that you weren't the original author. This means that it is way past my bedtime, and I really must turn in now. :-) Realkyhick 08:16, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, it depends on how much airplay it is getting. If it is one or two local stations, that may not be enough to clear the bar on notability. If you can find some online mentions of it, preferably a story from a magazine or newspaper or a well-known website, that would help as you could link to it. A chart position is a big plus. - The original article said it's getting airplay. Assuming this is in Australia (his user name is User:Geelong Cats23, the name of an Aussie Rules team), I'd have no way of knowing since it is half a world away. If someone wants to pay my way to Oz to investigate further, I'm up for it. :-) Realkyhick 00:45, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Darn! I hoped to take in a footy game. Just checked the AFL standin—uh, ladder, and it looks like the Cats are in top form. Years ago, ESPN used to show Aussie rules back when it was still the VFL, and the Bruce "The Flying Doormat" patrolled the oval for Carlton—I actually saw the famous headband incident. I miss the games here now. Realkyhick 01:23, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Adoption Quiz:
Alright, I've finished it, and I posted it on my talk page... kinda. The quiz user talk subpage... thing. Just post any comments there! Or on my talk page, I'll reply on your talk page, or we can discuss it there, either or. Also... it appears that HangermanBot isn't working. It says "This bot has ceased functioning due to unknown reasons" which really stinks. Either way, thanks for adopting me! It's almost over already! --HAL2008 talk 15:45, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

I added a fair use rationale. Could you check if it is sufficient or if I did anything wrong? thank you. Good friend100 20:50, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Re:RfA
Hi, thanks for your response regarding my RfA. I had already went for an editor review. As for the advice on the AFD and MFD thing, I'll bear it in mind. But why "you might even want to listen to gurch, but thats always risky"? Is there a reason for that? Oh, and, I always use summaries now. Thanks for your support!! Cheers!!!! -Zacharycrimsonwolf 01:40, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ah. Okay, but I won't take any offense for his replies. I'll continue with the project, don't worry ! Cheers!!! -Zacharycrimsonwolf 02:17, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Graduation:
Thanks a lot! Actually, it's right on the PROD page: "Articles that:
* Have previously been proposed for deletion * Have previously been undeleted * Have been discussed on AfD
are not candidates for prod." It's just a random note. Anyway, thanks a lot for all your help! I hope to stay in contact with you! --HAL2008 talk 04:55, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, believe it or not, the whole "I hate to oppose anything" was more of an "I don't like to be mean to people" comment, but just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I won't do it if need be. Anyway, thanks again, and thanks for saying that I'd be a good admin someday, that means a lot. --HAL2008 talk 05:38, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw that, but totally missed my username on there. Speaking of RfAs, when is your second one coming. I'm thinking about nominating you soon, if that's OK with you. --HAL2008 talk 05:43, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
- Cool! Sounds good, I'd be happy to co-nominate you when the time comes. I have to get some more mainspace edits in, I do a lot of vandal fighting, and sourcing, but I probably should help write more articles, but I just don't have the time right now (working 9-6 every day, though it's at a computer store, so most of the time I'm on Wikipedia anyway, but still running around, no real time to edit), so it'll probably be several, several months for me as well. Have fun on holiday! --HAL2008 talk 05:49, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

- Also, when you get back, I just started working with ISP Reports and I think you would enjoy working on it too. Either way... it helps out the community. --HAL2008 talk 19:08, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
HG articles
Just letting you know I've proposed these for deletion as HG itself has already been deleted. You may like to try getting the parent article undeleted if you wish this subject to be covered here. Richard001 08:07, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

RfA
Thank you for your support and comments at my RfA | ||
Hi G1ggy, It still amazes me that otherwise "anonymous" editors take the time to place !votes and comments on RfAs. Whilst I would have normally thanked you at the time of you leaving your message, the importance of my not appearing to be canvassing prevented me from so doing. Now that everything has progressed successfully I can finally thank you. I intend to uphold a style of good adminship and will welcome your further comments at any time in the future, even if they are in the form of admonishment. I will be happy to help as an admin wherever and whenever I can --VS talk 23:27, 27 June 2007 (UTC) |
