- FRB, the lead section is all the help that I need. I don't know how much you are aware of Madonna's bio and the career, but suggestion on the structure etc would be needed keeping in mind the FLC. —IB [ Poke ] 17:24, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
- I am not quite good with writing the lead of an article of this kind (I know how much I struggled for Taylor Swift's one) but since it's for the Queen of Pop, I would in every way help you take it to FLC. Still I would need to do some research for the sake of accuracy and comprehensiveness. -- Frankie talk 17:37, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

GA Review
Although now I feel like a bit of a headache for you, but, could you take up Randeep Hooda's GA review? I go back to college in a couple of days and want to get the review done ASAP as I won't be active (once I go back to college), and the article has been of good quality for quiet some time now. Take a look only if you feel up for it and have time to spare. Thank You! Numerounovedant Talk 8:19, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

A beer for you!
Just a heads up on the work you've been doing. Even if you might often get criticism at FAC/FLC (who doesn't?..) overall your efforts are commendable. You give off a great vibe too, a friendly guy who I think everybody likes, which on a hostile site like wikipedia makes a considerable difference. Sorry if I haven't always had the time to review your work or comment, but your efforts and positive demeanour have not gone unnoticed. Keep up the good work and may your quality of writing continue to improve. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:30, 7 February 2016 (UTC) |
- I didn't know that I would receive this from someone like you, truly and greatly appreciated. Don't worry about the reviews. I think it's okay given the amount of articles you produce. Despite that, you gave a lot of time to one of my articles that is very much appreciated. -- Frankie talk 17:58, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Hey!
I saw your recent edit summary on Swift's accolades page "God Saves Music". Any particular reasons for it? Are you referring to her second and well-deserved Album of The Year win?Krish | Talk 05:55, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- I like TayTay's music but I just don't think that 1989 is an Album of the Year material. It was apretty good album but I think it should've been Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly. Clearly the Grammy is better judge than me so whatever. -- Frankie talk 07:46, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- I have not listened to Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, so I cannot judge. I wasn't even aware of his existence until Swift released "Bad Blood". To be honest, 1989 was the clear winner even before the nominations were announced. I was rooting for her and became very happy when she won. She is the one (along with Adele) who can sell physical albums and she deserves it. Also, If reviews were the only parameter then Carol should have won Best Film Awards this year and not The Revenant and Spotlight. So, no one should doubt her win. Awards are subjective and people always will be divided.Krish | Talk 08:18, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- I am not saying it because of the reviews but because of the quality of Lamar's concept album. Anyway, I am happy for her wins maybe there was something in 1989 that wasn't in TPAB which made it the winner. -- Frankie talk 08:24, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
- I hope you don't ask the same question next year, when Adele will win Album of They Year for 25. Haha...Krish | Talk 08:27, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

You seen this film? It's really an Outstanding film. I literally cried on couple of moments. I hope I could say the same thing about Sonam Kapoor's performance, good, but not extraordinary like it should have been. Another actress (Kangana Ranaut maybe) would have given an award winning performance. Still Kapoor's best to date by a large margin. However, Shabana Azmi owns the film. See ASAP.Krish | Talk 18:17, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

- I saw Spotlight yesterday, staying with my cousin in Delhi right now, and what an amazing film it was. This should easily win Best Picture. I'm happy that Rachael McAdams had finally received her long overdue Oscar nomination, so very well-deserved. What an amazing cast! Hopefully, now he is a FA, people will learn more about him and he will become somebody rather than just someone. CassiantoTalk 00:14, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Seen the teaser trailer? My god this year can't get better, looking at the lined up films. This is definitely top of my list now after The Jungke Book, Zootopia and Finding Dory. - I know, you're making it a big deal by asking for a confession from Stone which we absolutely do not need. You claim there's reliable sources that contradict the ones about the breakup, please provide them, or that whole section is being deleted, leaving only the reliably sourced sentence of "She dated Andrew Garfield from 2011-2015". Rusted AutoParts 18:37, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

Oscars
Who do you think will win the most famous prize on this planet? Categories other than leading actor and actress (its a well-know fact; DiCaprio and Larson).Krish | Talk 17:50, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- I don't know the best film prize may go to Revenant or the one with Christian Bale. Best director too to the Revenant director, Alejandro. Best actor as you said is for sure reserved for DiCaprio. I wish best supporting actor goes to Mr. Bale (though it might go to Sylvester if not him then Mark) and it would be so fetch if
McAdamswins her nod (may not happen) but it is for sure reserved for 'The Danish Girl actress or maybe, maybe Kate Winslet. I wish Gaga wins the best original song category. -- Frankie talk 18:01, 27 February 2016 (UTC)- Yes, Gaga will definitely win that Oscar. Coming to main awards, I think Best Picture should go to Mad Max: Fury Road, Best Director to George Miller because this was easily the best film of 2015 after Carol, and Inside Out (no Best Picture nominations). I mean Fury Road is an stunning piece of cinema, and an experience of a kind. Seeing the visuals, one can say how much Miller deserves that golden warrior. George Miller is most deserving for Best Director. Spotlight and The Big Short deserves to win after Mad Max, and not The Revenant. It is stunning, arty but not as good as those above listed films. Sadly it seems both The Revenant and Alejandro Innaritu's names are on those ballots. I wish Kate Winslet takes that award, though I really loved Alicia Vikander in The Danish Girl. Supporting Actor is a toss between Bale, Stallone and Rylance. But all three are deserving enough.Krish | Talk 19:31, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Films like Max Mad never win awards like best picture I am surprised that it was even nominated. The dark knight wasn't even nominated. -- Frankie talk 19:52, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
- Sadly that's true. The Dark Knight should have been nominated and won the Best Picture. It was much better than Slumdog Millionaire. It so sad that The Academy only favours dramas, and biopics. They have snuubed every other genre from comedies to science fiction to superhero films. More than acting categories, it lacks diversity in Best Picture nominations/winners.Krish | Talk 05:10, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
- Many science fiction movies have been nominated for Best Picture (Inception, Star Wars IV, ET, Gravity and The Martian are some examples) but none have won. Only one fantasy movie (Return of the King) has won, while winners Forrest Gump, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Birdman were quite light in tone. If all those "hallucinations" that Riggan sees in Birdman are actually true, it is another fantasy to win Best Picture. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:02, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

I have no idea why you were using a dab page as a talk page, but for obvious reasons I've removed your edit there. Doug Weller talk 10:20, 26 February 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for reverting it. Actually I wanted to leave the message on someone's talk page but for some reason after logging in the iPad took me to the page and I mistakenly left it in the dab page. -- Frankie talk 13:53, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

TFL notification
Hi, Frankie. I'm just posting to let you know that List of songs recorded by Lady Gaga – a list that you have been heavily involved with – has been chosen to appear on the Main Page as Today's featured list for March 28. The TFL blurb can be seen here. If you have any thoughts on the selection, please post them on my talk page or at TFL talk. Regards, Giants2008 (Talk) 23:18, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
88th Academy Awards
Did you watch it?Krish | Talk 12:18, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Nope, but the winners were the ones who I expected to win except one person, who I rooted for the most. -- Frankie talk 12:20, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Nevermind. Priyanka Chopra presented Award for Best Film Editing to Mad Max: Fury Road. That was so cool. Plus, Chopra has appeared on all Best Dressed list for her Oscar look. "Priyanka Chopra Oscar dress" was second most searched this year, which is even more cool.Krish | Talk 12:35, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Good for her! -- Frankie talk 12:36, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- Plus, Mad Max won six, Leo, Alicia and Brie won. Yay. Miller, Stallone lost. However most unexpected and well-deserved award was for "Best Special Effects", which went to Ex-Machina. It deserved that award very much. However, Lady Gaga's loss was unexpected.Krish | Talk 12:39, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- I guess Ex Machina is an example of how visually impressive sci-fis can be made without huge budgets. And I am indeed surprised that "Writing on the Wall" won; it didn't receive such great reviews either. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:22, 29 February 2016 (UTC)
- After hearing "Till It Happens To You" (Yesterday) for the first time, I thought it was the most amazingly written song of all five nominee. "Earned It" would be second, but "WONTW"? Was that a joke? It's like Minions receiving a Best Picture nomination. LOL. This wasn't fair to Gaga. Was this given to make Sam Smith, the first openly gay man to win an Oscar?Krish | Talk 09:44, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Looks like you made the same mistake as Smith did. -- Frankie talk 10:03, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

- Then why did he announced it in front of millions of people? I didn't know who was/is the first of any category other than most wins for Best Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis), Best Actress (Katherine Hepburn), and stuffs like that. I'm not a racist or sexist or a judgemental person.Krish | Talk 10:18, 1 March 2016 (UTC)

For your recent promotion of Sonam Kapoor, she is underestimated as an actress, but she finally got a bronze star. —IB [ Poke ] 15:33, 4 March 2016 (UTC) |
- Thanks! I really cannot tell how she is as an actress as I have not watched any of her films. -- Frankie talk 16:45, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

- Many congratulations, FrB.TG!! Very happy to see this. Fun fact: After I worked on Vidya Balan's article, she won the Filmfare and National Film Award for The Dirty Picture. After Deepika Padukone's article passed, she won the Filmfare Award for Ram-Leela, and after Kangana Ranaut's article passed, she won both the Filmfare and NFA for Queen. Given the trend, next year it will be Sonam's turn for Neerja. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 07:13, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I don't think so. Sonam Kapoor was average in Neerja, still her best. It was the film which was brilliant. Next year, either Aishwarya or Kangana are going to win all awards. Kangana's role in Rangoon is nothing sort of spectacular. But who knows, if Sonam can get a Filmfare nomination for her panned performance in Dolly Ki Doli. I wont be surprised if she won Filmfare Critics Award, like Alia, who was undeserving and still won just because Kjo paid for it.Krish | Talk 09:10, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

For getting Sonam Kapoor to FA status. :) Do watch Neerja. Also, Good luck for Gaga. Yashthepunisher (talk) 05:15, 7 March 2016 (UTC) |
- BTW do you have GA plans for Emma Stone, she's one of my favourites. I could have worked on her article, but currently i'm too busy in my real life. Yashthepunisher (talk) 05:36, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you Yash! :) I will surely watch Neerja and it's nice to see female oriented films such as Kahaani, Queen, NH10, Mary Kom and Neerja do quite well at the box-office. I expect more of them. And regarding Stone, yes I will expand her article at some point. She is my favorite too. -- Frankie talk 12:22, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
