Speedy deletion nomination of Silver Sound Studios

A tag has been placed on Silver Sound Studios, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Userfying Silver Sound Studios

Hello Eriacesina, as you already had a userfied page at User:Eriacesina/silversound, I merely overwrote it with the deleted content of Silver Sound Studios article.

Your article was deleted based on two criteria:

Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Articles item 7 - An article about an organization that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.
Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#General item 11 - Page that exclusively promotes some entity and that would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic.

Skywalker Sound steers clear on both counts as significance is shown by the Academy Award wins, and the article is not advertising itself.

Giving a list of Silver Sound's clients is probably what's making it look like advertising. Also provide some references from a source other than google maps and the official website.Jay (talk) 05:56, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
