Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, PixieDavies, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! —C.Fred (talk) 21:53, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Pixie Davies for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Pixie Davies is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pixie Davies until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. IagoQnsi (talk) 22:00, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

About your username

[edit]

Your username implies that you are actress Pixie Davies. Is this correct, or are you just a fan?

If you are Davies, I will provide you with further information on how to contact the Volunteer Response Team to verify your information.

If you are not Davies, you will need to change your username to avoid confusion.

Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 19:21, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dyldav10. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Blu Dash L (smartphone), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
