Adoption
I'm a new wiki editor and would like to be adopted please as i'm already finding this a bit tough! Any help would be much appreciated!KerioBerry (talk) 11:09, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi Dylan!
Nice to see that you have resumed editing again. I left a note some months ago that you might find the weather forecasting group of Foot of interest.
Best wishes, Kiefer.Wolfowitz 03:06, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
P.S. You have a lot of young friends. :-) If you see one disclosing personal information about himself or about other minors, please consider warning them that it's best to keep personal things private . (Good people, especially young editors, sometimes get bullied by vandals.)
Personal information
Hello, some editors have expressed concern that you have posted personal information on your userpage that could have unintended consequences. The information may or may not remain on your page when you read this message. You are free to have the information on your page if you believe you understand the consequences; however, if you believe the consequences are too great you should remove the information. In addition, you can contact an administrator who can remove the (many) revisions including the personal information. Please feel free to contact an administrator, or any of the editors involved if you would like another opinion. Ryan Vesey (talk) 08:12, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- In addition, sorry if this seems like I am not treating you like an experienced editor. I would just like to make sure I cover everything. Ryan Vesey (talk) 08:12, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- I'd rather keep the userbox. Due to my Asperger's, my speech is often imperfect, so it could explain if any comments of mine are clumsily-worded. --Dylan620 (I'm all ears) 15:14, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, I'm sure you know how to do a dummy edit, right? Would you do a dummy edit and explicitly express your desire for it to stay? Ryan Vesey (talk) 16:10, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- I should spend a week consulting the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychological Association 4 (Revised) to find a list of all the problems I have that might explain my mis-statements, mis-spellings, and stupid blunders! Kiefer.Wolfowitz 16:12, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- @ Ryan: Done, in case you haven't noticed. --Dylan620 (I'm all ears) 16:26, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
- I saw, that should clear everything up. Ryan Vesey (talk) 16:27, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

English Article on German Wikipedia
Hello ! I have found you on the adopters list and hope you can help me. I have created my wikipedia account from Germany, but would like to write in English. I have given in my prefernce the english language. Still I get notices from Wikipedia in German. How could I get these in English ? I created a page in English for "Mumbiram" which appears on "de.wikipedia" and got note: "wrong language" and got deleted without any detailed reasoning. How can I create English Articles from my account that will appear on the "en.wikipedia" ?--Kusum Bhagavat (talk) 04:14, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
