[edit]Hi Drlauraguertin, here are some thoughts about your sandbox:
- Nicely done with the formatting! The sections are appropriately named and structured, and standard Wikipedia conventions are followed (bolding in the first sentence, including DOB in parentheses at beginning, usage and placement of infobox...)
- I believe dissertation titles are italicized (High Pressure P-V-T Properties Of Seawater And Related Liquids)
- In general, all content on Wikipedia should be referenced. If consecutive sentences come from the same source, the citation can be added once at the end of the consecutive sentences rather than duplicated at the end of each sentence. In that vein, no paragraph should end without a citation, and no paragraphs should lack citations. I see several paragraphs that lack citations, which is a red flag. Where does this content come from? How will the reader know it's verifiable?
- We typically do not put "external links" in the body of an article (you have one at The Harald Sverdrup Lecture). Typically, external links go in a section at the very bottom, underneath the references, called "External links".
I think your biggest concern moving forward is adding more citations to prove that all the content is verifiable. Once you've done that, I think you'll be ready to move your work to mainspace! Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:02, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the comments, Elysia (Wiki Ed) - I made the edits, added citations and an External links section. I appreciate the feedback. Drlauraguertin (talk) 01:12, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Drlauraguertin, Looking really great now! Thanks for making those adjustments :) Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:12, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
