Information icon Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Talk:Eurovision Song Contest 2017, where you removed the talk page contents and replaced them with a version of the article. Readers looking for the talk pages will not find what you did helpful. Conflict of interest?

[edit]

Greetings! I see you just edited Lithuania national basketball team. Based on your username, do you have a connection with the team, such that you have a conflict of interest with that article? —C.Fred (talk) 17:27, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Based on your username, do you have a connection with the team, such that you have a conflict of interest with that article?"; I want you to specify what you mean by leaving this message – DreamTeamLietuva (talk) 19:52, 21 February 2020 (UTC) (copied here from User talk:C.Fred)[reply]
It means exactly what it says. Are you just a fan of the Lithuanian national basketball team, are you a volunteer for the team, or are you paid staff? The US fielded a basketball "Dream Team" of pro athletes in the 1990s, and the Lithuanian team is sometimes called "The Other Dream Team", so it is a reasonable link. —C.Fred (talk) 19:48, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020–21 EuroLeague Regular Season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mike James. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:08, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

November 2020

[edit]

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Marc Gasol appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 11:00, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

2021 LKL Play–offs moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2021 LKL Play–offs, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
