[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. 331dot (talk) 13:02, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in The Baileys of Balboa, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit was of a template parameter that does not exist; the edit broke the template. Carefully review Template:Infobox television for what the valid parameters are and how to use them. ButlerBlog (talk) 17:59, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't sure about adding to that template. I watched an episode of "The Baileys of Balboa" on Youtube and saw at the end that the shows were all filmed at CBS Studio City in Studio City, California. I thought it appropriate to add the line in the article's "production" section. Sometimes, the Manual of Style is difficult to understand. You may add it if you like in such a way that it conforms with the template style. Thanks! [edit]Hello, I'm Mvcg66b3r. I noticed that you recently removed content from WSMV-TV without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit]Hello, I'm Mvcg66b3r. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, WCYB-TV, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:31, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- The information I published for WCYB-TV is from the history cards for the station, located in the files of the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.
- The information is here:
- I have never understood how to post information with source links on Wikipedia. Usually whenever I try it, it's either wrong or somebody tells me the source is not correct, even though it's a valid link. Douglassriverview (talk) 03:10, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- Your edit was poorly written, and had too much detail. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:46, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you.
- Because of that, I will never make another edit to Wikipedia.
- BTW.. I just retired after 53 years as....
- A television news writer and anchor.
- My work has won Emmy and AP awards.
- "Detail" is my life.
- But somehow, I cannot master... Wikipedia.
- Sorry. I probably did not say this correctly, either.
- Have a nice day. Douglassriverview (talk) 03:59, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
