I appreciate that you are interested in this subject but policy and guidelines and consensus are moving away from such content inclusion. Candida Royalle school citation.

As I mentioned Candida definitely attended the High School of Art and Design, and the others. I don't understand "protecting the schools". If Calvin Klein had a wikipedia page, or others on our Notable Alumni list, would they have to put a citation there, too? I mean anyone can claim to have attended a school, so everyone should have to prove it. But how does someone prove it -- get a note from the school's administration saying "so and so attended the school or graduated from the school?" In any event Candida Royalle is not her real name (I have met her myself, twice). She graduated in 1968. She wants her privacy respected so she won't print it. Yes the dialogue becomes less testy when after spending an exoborant amount of time editing (& trying to figure out syntaxes) only to have it reversed. It's probably not a fun oversight job either. Whenever there is a question on Vette - just ask as I go right to the source. Also appreciate the crash course so I know enough to be dangerous. The Award section is good to go so if you wouldn't mind reinserting it... then I can go about other informational updates. Speaking of Booble, it gets alot of press especially the Annual winner when you have the Likes of Tera Patrick, Jenna Jamesons and other adult star heavyweights slugging it out.

Don't disagree with some that you say on Adult stars, Many at the upper echelon, like Vette, however are on a different level and know the business inside out. She is the only way that has recently filed a law suit against Rapidshare for providing "unauthorized" sharing content. Sound familiar - Recording Industry and Napster. On the vette explanation, i provided one that supported the original wording that didn't pass muster. It appears it was completely sustainable according to Vette who then provided me, on her members board, with that direct quote! When I usually receive something direct from Vicky or Dave (current husband & mgr) it is typically accurate. Some of the other Sr. Members seem to feel I am swimming uphill and suggest the efforts head to sexpedia. She has done a number of them as well as awards and I don't think understands or realizes just how difficult it is to post valid information. She has done numerous interviews as well as releases. I cited one earlier on how she came by choosing her last name... You did not like the source I originally provided which supported the original information and now nor a direct quote... "I love corvettes, always wanted one, they are fast and curvy sexy like a woman's body, and looks better with the top down! lol.. I have no idea why they took that down." I noticed that you removed a paragraph from Sunny Leone, stating that is non-notable spam. Since the information added contributed towards the biography of this individual by noting relevant recent events in which she was involved, I believe it is worthy of mention in the article. The fact that it was written from a neutral point of view also means it's certainly not "spam". Unless the reference included with the information was bogus, I don't see any reason to delete it, and have just reinstated it. Is there a specific concern you have with this content? I see the reason for the concern now; I've noticed that both references added are links to a store selling these DVDs. While I agree that more suitable references could be chosen, the information was clearly not written as an advertisement, and links of this nature are permitted by policy as long as they add meaningful content to the article, which I believe they do. If you are concerned about the fact that these references lead to a store, the best course of action would be to find sources elsewhere and replace the references with them. In any case, I wanted to let you know I've re-added the atheist category to Bree Olsen. This was previously referenced on the page, but was removed as irrelevant. The category, on the other hand, is not. I've added a short description of her religious convictions with a ref to support the category. Someone at 98.218.211.133 has repeatedly removed sourced statements (and their accompanying reference) from the Stephanie Adams article.

The accompanying reference is quite clear in its support for those statements (imo).

I'm seeing this as simple vandalism; the user in question has never edited anything else... But I noticed you'd reverted this once, so I thought I'd get your opinion before I reverted it for a second time.

Well, there is a Kelly Gallagher article. It's a disambig page with only one blue link. I'm not sure what you're getting at though. Are you saying that her article, if we are to have one, should be under Gallagher even though she has more recently appeared on television and such as Wearstler? I'm not especially clear on what the guidelines are for what name should be used for an article about a person who has used more than one name, truly. Yes, I was trying to say the article should be under Gallagher, since we have little evidence she's notable as a designer. Eagle program for circuit design

Hi, I'm trying to use Eagle to draw my circuits (thanks for the suggestion) but I've no idea how to find the component to indicate my alternating current power source (a circle with a tilde in it). There is another date in day month year format in the previous paragraph. I concluded that it was better to keep the format.

I've put my reason in the edit summary twice now. WP:EL. Under "Links normally to be avoided" point 11: "Links to blogs, personal web pages and most fansites, except those written by a recognized authority." I'm new to wikipedia, thanks for showing me the reason, I would like to highlight the word "most" in front of fansites, indicating that some may be ok (I would assume high quality ones without spammy-ness to be ok). The word most doesn't relate to the "official" statement, as that would apply with or without the word most in front of fansites, official sites are by definition not fansites. If you look at the other links on Dree's article you may notice that 1/2 already break the rule you removed my link for. At least 1-2 of them are blog posts. One link doesn't even work. Like I said I am new to editing in Wiki so sorry if I'm out of place for mentioning this, but isn't the function of the external links section to provide relevant information on the subject matter? There are fan sites that would be allowed, yes. But as I pointed out, those should be from "recognized authorities" on the subject. The site you are trying to add puts out a call to fans directly at the top (We are currently looking for other fans to help us...) which reads like a new site looking for readers to help them provide content to the fledgling site. Additionally, the disclaimer link at the bottom of the page doesn't work. These are not, in my opinion, hallmarks of a recognized authority.

I don't recall at the moment how Hemingway's article got on my watchlist but it did. It may have been for some minor tweak that I made to another section of the article. I hadn't previously gone through the other links and I haven't read every word of every article that is on my watchlist. I was simply unaware of the bad link and potential problems with the other links. The reason that I removed yours while keeping the others was simply because I knew yours wasn't going by WP:EL. Once I removed yours, I thought I should check out the others and have taken a cursory glance at them. I removed the obvious broken link but don't have time to read the others. One or two, at least, look like they'd be better as a source for the article instead of an ext. link since as you point out, they "provide very little to no additional information".

I fixed the disclaimer link, your correct the site is new, which in my opinion is opposite of fledgling, it's up and coming. The link was intended as a way for people to reach the content for Dree Hemingway (Pictures & Videos) that wikipedia is unable to show due to copyright reasons. This is in fact highlighted as a site that should be linked to under the rules you pointed me to.

WP:LINKFARM says that Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of links. By your view, every fansite would be basically "neutral and accurate" and would have content that couldn't be integrated due to "copyright issues". So by adding every fansite, we create an indiscriminate collection of links. You're trying for loop holes.

And yes, IMDb was once a small site. I'm well aware of it since I'm listed on it. But every thing starts small. We use IMDb because it is a recognized authority for filmographies. It's not the other way 'round. They aren't a recognized authority because we link to them.

One becomes a recognized authority by having the subject themselves give you exclusive content, having media sources cite you as a source for their info, and generally being referenced by the public (e.g. Snopes, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, TMZ, Drudge Report, etc.). Thank you for taking the time to explain what constitutes a recognized authority. I will re-submit as soon as I get an exclusive interview or other content to meet your guidelines. I also wasn't referring to adding every fansite, but you would think Wikipedia would have room for one or two of a celebrities best fansites as that is something most fans that come to your page would possible want to see (especially considering the mediocre links currently shown, providing little to nothing to your users). I personally feel the guidelines you referred to were originally meant to keep spammy websites off the link lists (you know the portal ones like mademen.com/etc), and to be used as a general guideline. Luckily imdb isn't as stringent and they should add a link to my site within a week, but sadly my fansite is the only one I can find atm for Dree so getting links are difficult. 1. Mere collections of external links or Internet directories. There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate. See Wikipedia:External links for some guidelines. Regarding that, shouldn't abbreviations be piped though? After all, someone who is reading an article and sees a link to UCLA may not know what that is. But if the link is piped with [[University of California, Los Angeles|UCLA]], then they would be able to hover over the link and learn what it stands for without having to visit the article. If the context of he article is such that UCLA is not clear, than the link shouldn't display as "UCLA" at all, but as "University of California, Los Angles", and if that institution is going to be mentioned again, "(UCLA)" should be appended so that further references to it can use the abbreviation. It doesn't hurt, and it's being done for a lot of tables, including shorter ones. See WP:ACTOR#Filmography tables for a wikiproject's suggestion. And ya, I put that there. There's six months of discussion behind all this. I'd appreciate it if you'd keep an eye out for others getting rowspans stuck in with sorting; it breaks quite badly; just click the controls in the header to see. There are also accessibility issues with rowspans; listen to User:RexxS/Accessibility; text-to-speech speaks nonsense for tables with spans; data is *missing*. Hi Dismas. Just a comment about the removal of the image from Carol Lynley (here). There are unfree images being added and used inappropriately all the time, and I encourage you to remove them when they need to be removed, but please click on the image first and check the copyright info on the image description page. This one is on Commons, and is accepted as being a free image from a public domain film trailer. If this is incorrect, or you wish to dispute it, you could list it at Commons. Yes, I think it's unusual. As far as I understand it, the industry standard is that pre 1964 trailers are assumed to be in the public domain, but that trailers released prior to 1977 are free if the trailer was released without a copyright notice. (I thought it was 1972, but the tag used says 1977) I think there's an automatic copyright for trailers after that date, with or without a published copyright notice, so we couldn't use any of the more recent ones. I said possible vandalism. The comment is basically trivia and Wikipedia tries to avoid trivia. The comment doesn't really tell us anything about her as a person. If it were to say that she contributed to a favorite charity or political party, or if she were an expert at something, that would tell us more about who she is. Additionally, "in a web interview" is incredibly vague. Where is the interview? Who was it with? Simply answering a fan's question on a message board could be construed as a web interview. Basically, you haven't cited a source. At the very least, you could put a link to the interview in between <ref> and </ref> tags. That is if it weren't trivia to begin with. This link is relevent to the article because I knew her, and have the photos to prove it. The article offers not only a personal bio of when I knew her, but also my own photos of her you won't find anywhere else. I also think the images are relevent to her story and I have permission to use them.

I know you think you are removing them for good faith, and I'm asking you to PLEASE leave the link there. It isn't just your page - it is our page. And it is relevant to her life and story. People have contacted me about her over this page and admitted they didn't know information I have related to them.

I'm trying in GOOD faith to ask you to leave the link as is. It harm's no one and doesn't violate any guidelines.

I'm trying to source a picture of her from someone on flickr (had one rejection already but will try someone else)...but guess what. Since wikipedia puts a closing bracket on its title for her as in (actress), no one on flickr can access her wikipedia article. So, no one on flickr can see it. So why would anyone there bother to license an image for an article that they cannot see has no image? Unless you know of a solution? If not, there will never be an image of her. Miles Long Film Career

Changes to Miles Long Bio

Hi Dismas, I would like to find out why you modified the film career information on this person. After examining Bios of other performer/directors i.e. Jenna Haze, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenna_Haze we find the same exact style and amount of information on the subject's film career. I also noticed that you removed a number of awards nominations, and would like to know how to go about having them re admitted, as they are all verifiable. The only reason why this article was modifed in the first place was to ensure that it was no longer an orphan. And the previous version was already vetted by another moderator and has remained untouched for quite some time.

Any help you can lend in this department would be greatly appreciated, as we have worked very hard to make this article accurate, and would like to make sure that all of the accolades and achievements Miles Long has are correctly reflected.

Wake up ref desk

Can you please get someone to answer the cyberchase question i left? I check both the ref desk and my talk page, and nothing. I told them that all the episodes are on youtube, so they can just type in the name and it will bring it up. Can you please tell the other admins for me to "WAKE UP! it's a new day." I know you are awake, so i don't blame anyone at all, i'm just trying to shed light on my question that is still unanswered. I hope they arn't ignoring me just because of the problom i had with my talk page. (power failure while i was editing caused my talk page to be blanked). Wake up ref desk part 2

I have asked the biz kids question about whether it is Catherine Thompson, Jes Brieden or Someone else who does a voice on biz kids (see the question), and i still am not getting anything, this is my 5th time, i've givven the ref desk a couple months to answer it. By the way, the next airing of biz kids is 7:00 eastern time on PBS spokane (ksps) I also mention a question about the voice of a police officer on wordgirl, he appears in the episodes "wham up" and "granny and clyde" He sounds somewhat like the reporter, and also has a space ghost quality to his voice. I know the voice questions are annoying, but i am working on a movie project, and the voice actor questions i ask help me expand my knowledge of the voice actors, so the movie will be successful. I want to know who to choose for a character so they sound the closest to what i imagine the character to sound like. In my movie, Mr. Jones sounds like the police officer from wordgirl, and Annie sounds like Peg from Biz Kids. I just want to know who it is, so i can describe the voice for when i send in the possibility to a company, that way, i'm not getting constent questions about 'who do you think should do a voice for this character, who sounds closest to what you imagine the character to sound like? Please just, don't let the people just ignore it. I know my questions are somewhat the same. The reason why i ask the questions about the cyberchase guest stars is because i want to improove your article on cyberchase characters. I was wondering about the poddleville case because your article says that Elizabeth Jones voices Triangle 1, but i click on her link, and it talks about an artest and governor. Pluss, i want to make the article as acurate as possible, as i am a big cyberchase watcher. If you do want to watch any episodes, Dawnstar86 put them all on youtube, which is great. No more missing them for me. I'd ask my friend to do the guest star thing, but he likes to mess around, which is why he calls himself 'wonkey wendle' Note that he said that i can mention his name. But thanks for helping. Thought i'd let you know. If anyone finds the guest stars, even if they don't put them on my talk page, they can put them in the article. movie idea needs improovement, any ideas?

Annie is staying in Connecticut to see her friend Joan, and she stays at the "creature in hotel", which is rumered to be haunted. When she stays at the hotel in room 203, she notices really wierd stuff going on. There is a figure that keeps going near her, and she often hears crying or singing in the night, coming from near by the window. Annie goes to the front desk and is directed to Elizabeth Jones in room 204, who tells her about the ghost of Catherine Jones, who died in 1910 at age 13. it is unknown how she dies, but Annie then calls in her ghost hunter brother (Sean Desman), named norman who finds Catherine near the heater in 203. Annie, Norman and the other ghost hunters must help Catherine realize that the people who used to tease her are not there any more, and she can rest in peace. Do you have any ideas to spice the movie up? I.e. How Catherine died, or who should do voices in the movie, or just other additions to the plot? i'm open to new ideas.
