Welcome to Wikipedia from WikiProject Climate Change!

[edit]
Climate articles need a lot of work. Thanks for being here!

Thanks for helping edit Climate Change content on Wikipedia! WikiProject Climate Change is a group of editors who strive to improve the quality of climate change articles here on Wikipedia. I noticed that you are interested in editing articles related to climate change topics; we need more editors like you in the community.

Wikipedia is one the most requested, published, accessed, and consulted source of information on climate change and sustainability in every language. As an editing community, we think Wikipedia is one of the best ways for sharing knowledge about the climate crises, and also the best path to help decision makers and communicators at all levels of society, including journalists, policy makers, politicians, and decision makers.

If you want to do more, here are some suggestions:

  • Content is much more likely to stick if you have good citations. Check out our recommended sources collection to learn what kinds of sources we think are best.
  • If you are looking for ideas on what to edit, consider one of the Small to medium tasks suggestions.
  • Be bold and join the discussion! The Wikipedia community includes a wide variety of editors with different interests, skills, and knowledge. We all manage to get along through a lot of discussion that happens under the scenes and through the bold, revert, discuss editing cycle.
  • Please leave a message on the on the WikiProject Climate change talk page if you have concerns that involve multiple articles, would like review of an article, need suggestions for articles to edit, or would like some collaboration when editing. Or for general questions about how Wikipedia works, feel free to ask at the Wikipedia Teahouse.

Feel free to respond to this note if you have any questions. I wish you all the best! EMsmile (talk) 23:48, 1 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
