Creation of new category

Creation of new category If we look at Category:Companies by stock market index, most of the world's major indices are listed, except for the TSE. Could you add this? 92.71.60.61 (talk) 09:08, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

I don't understand why you're asking me this. I have't worked on this and I don't even know what the TSE is. If you want to create a new subcategory, you have to first add the category link (presumably Category:Companies in the TSE) to one of the appropriate articles, then click on the redlinked category to create it - at the very least it will need to be assigned to Category:Companies by stock market index. Then you add the new - now a bluelink - category to the other articles it applies to. Colonies Chris (talk) 09:28, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Ah, I'd seen you make the last edit to Template:TSE Companies of Iran, thought you would be invested in the subject. IP users can't create a cat from a redlink, that's the reason. If you were to create it, I'm happy to populate the companies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.71.60.61 (talk) 10:25, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
The IP has spammed this message to dozens of user talk pages, see also Talk:FTSE 100 Index#Creation of new category which seems to be the original thread. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 10:42, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Just FYI, I've tried the method above to assign (red) categories to articles, but have not been able to create, therefore everything has been reverted. I'd love to add them to Category:Companies by stock market index, but it seems we're at a roadblock. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.71.60.61 (talk) 14:07, 20 November 2023 (UTC)

Always precious

Ten years ago, you were found precious. That's what you are, always. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:00, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
