Changes to Bluestar fleet/routes
Hello, I noticed you reverted some changes by user Rafmarham on the Bluestar page due to lack of citation. That all seems reasonable, except the previous content has no citations either. As a user of these services myself, I know that Rafharmam's content is more accurate, but I also have no citations (I'm not even sure where one would get citations for what stock is used on what routes). Certainly, reverting accurate information to inaccurate information probably isn't ideal, but I'd rather not get into edit wars. I thought instead I'd mention this to you for your thoughts on the matter. AndyLandy (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Often fleet lists can be found on bus company websites in which case there is no point in reproducing it in full on Wikipedia. If sources cannot be found then it is probably original research or copied from unreliable self-published fan sites, in which case it should be deleted. This type of rapidly changing information is not stable encyclopedic content.--Charles (talk) 21:42, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
You are invited to the first Brighton Wiki Meetup which will take place at The West Quay, Brighton Marina Village, Brighton BN2 5UT on Sunday 28 April 2013 from 1.00 pm. If you have never been to one, this is an opportunity to meet other Wikipedians in an informal atmosphere for Wiki and non-Wiki related chat and for beer or food if you like. Experienced and new contributors are all welcome. This event is definitely not restricted just to discussion of Brighton topics. Bring your laptop if you like and use the free Wifi or just bring yourself. Even better, bring a friend! Click the link for full details. Looking forward to seeing you. Nguni cattle
Hi Charlesdrakew. I came across a strange statement in the article on the Nguni cattle and backtracked to trace its origin. I see that it was included by you way back on May 7, 2008, http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Nguni_cattle&diff=next&oldid=210671877. The statement is the following: "They are characterized by low cervico-thoracic humps, in front of the front legs, instead of the high thoracic humps of pure Zebu". I can't figue out whether you are talking about the hump over the shoulderblades or the dewlap hanging under the neck - "cervico-thoracic humps, in front of the front legs". Further, isn't there another way of saying "cervico-thoracic" that everyone will understand? Regards, Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia (talk) 10:33, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Definitely the hump over the neck and shoulder. Looking at the surviving references again the humps are described as slight in the cows and well developed and muscular in the bulls. Feel free to improve on it. Me too busy just now.--Charles (talk) 10:55, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Re your last reversal; You really do get some dreadfully constipated people to deal with!

- Indeed. I just noticed a little number by my username but I wish we could have the orange message bar back.--Charles (talk) 08:23, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
