Buses

Do I have to prove every single of them buses? I could prove 27 but that's about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tez011 (talkcontribs) 20:17, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

All information on Wikipedia should have a reliable secondary source or it may be challenged and removed. See WP:Citing sources. Wikipedia is not a travel guide, a directory or a source of trivial information which can be better found in linked primary sources.--Charles (talk) 21:54, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Hmm, ask some other people that live in Preston like YouTube channel ThePrestonChannel. Tez011 (talk) 19:47, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
YouTube is hardly a reliable source.--Charles (talk) 20:10, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Qigong article

Thanks for your interest in the quality of the Qigong article. Your reversion has been undone to a version of text that is more accurate and corrects grammar. We can discuss this and then further refine the text if needed. Note, discussion on page User talk:Ottawakungfu. Vitalforce (talk) 14:47, 24 November 2011 (UTC)

When you get a chance could you please see how you feel the Qigong article is progressing? I have tried to provide solid structure, clean neutral text, and reputable references. Vitalforce (talk) 13:24, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

It looks good to me but I am not in any way an expert in the subject. Thanks for all the hard work.--Charles (talk) 14:21, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Could you please offer your assessment concerning neutrality on the Talk:Qigong page (as an experienced WP editor)? Thanks Vitalforce (talk) 19:47, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

Chippenham

Hi I was not threatening I was just annoyed that he told me to go there to ask someone and then he was on there saying no, threatening v strong word I was just giving word of advice --Chip123456 (talk) 18:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Threatening can be anything from mild to strong. You will do well as a new editor to listen to some advice instead of giving it out. Happy editing.--Charles (talk) 21:10, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

I listen and give and happy editing--Chip123456 (talk) 18:43, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Blandford Forum - employment

Hello Charlesdrakew. I suspect you might have misunderstood the sentence in Blandford Forum which you amended recently. From your edit summary, I wonder if you interpreted the sentence as claiming that Bryanston School received beer from the Badger Brewery (a claim which you removed), whereas my interpretation was that Bryanston School was really just part of a list of local employers, however a sub-clause made the grammar rather ambiguous. Am I mistaken? PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 18:55, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

I did indeed assume it mean't the brewery was supplying the school and guessed it was embedded vandalism. I now see what it was supposed to say.--Charles (talk) 19:11, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Well as I stated, it was/is a rather ambiguous sentence construction, which is easily misconstrued. Actually this is a good demonstration of the value of edit summaries! PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 19:33, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Re: Arriva London edit

Hello, I've created a Wikipedia account now. Used to edit here before, a long time ago. I have evidence that the New Bus for London has been given an "LT" class by Arriva, but it's only personal photographic evidence that I don't particularly want to put on the internet, as such.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused, I'll be a little more thoughtful next time (it's been a while!)

--Busman01293 (talk) 11:04, 24 December 2011 (UTC)

Your personal observations/photos are original research and as such are not allowed. On Wikipedia only information with reliable secondary sources is permitted and excessive copying of detail from linked primary sources is discouraged. That is because this is an encyclopedia not a directory or travel guide and minute details of interest only to a few enthusiasts should be avoided. There are other sites such as UK Transport Wiki at Wikia which are intended for original research. Happy Christmas to you.--Charles (talk) 13:36, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
