October 2020

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Wtmitchell. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Juan Diego Castro Fernández—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Bundestag diagram

[edit]

Hey CDLCR! Actually, I think your diagram is very good, with the small exception that the CDU and CSU should not be shown separately, because these "sister parties" traditionally form a joint faction at the federal level and also act like this politically (for more information I would recommend the Wiki-article CDU/CSU). However, a discussion on the talk page of the article, I was involved in a long time ago, (in a shortened form) showed that there is no consensus for a diagram that orders the parties according to the seating order. Rather, Wikipedia seems to use a left-right order (which I personally reject because in the case of Germany it would be completely arbitrary: Are the Greens or the SPD more left-wing? Is the CDU or the FDP more right? Nobody can say that so easily) or in the order "government - opposition" according to strength ratio, which was now the status quo. If you wish otherwise, I would recommend or ask you to resume the discussion on the talk page before you make the next edit on this topic. If you want to promote your diagram there (with the small change I have requested), I will gladly support you. Best regards Alektor89 (talk) 13:27, 27 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

December 2020

[edit]

Information icon Hi CDLCR! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at United States invasion of Panama that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Transparency

[edit]

In the interests of transparency, User:CLDCR was renamed User:Ochentero on 13 January 2021: See here. (Note added by Xyl 54 (talk) 21:55, 17 January 2021 (UTC))[reply]

Merge

[edit]

What are you playing at?
You tagged this page for a merger a while ago, with no explanation, and no discussion opened on either talk page. You then (earlier today) removed the tag saying "No enough support on talk page for merge", but went ahead and merged them anyway.
This is far and away the wrong way to do this, so I have un-merged them.
I would suggest you read Help:Merge to see the correct way to propose a merger (Such as, have a reason! And, tell everyone what that is! Then, wait until there is broad agreement on doing it!) and, if you still think it’s a good idea, propose it again, properly. Xyl 54 (talk) 21:54, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
