Question regarding Draft:Paolo Tasca

[edit]

Hello, BuySomeApples. Thank you for your review of Draft:Paolo Tasca. I seek to implement all comments received to produce a high-quality article. In that spirit, would you be able to please point to specific improper sourcing examples within the article so that I can understand how to improve them? Regarding notability, I was wondering if you could compare the draft to e.g. George Danezis and point to how notability is demonstrated differently in each case, so that I can assess whether and what extra evidence should be added. Thank you very much in advance! Really appreciated. 144.82.8.199 (talk) 16:20, 1 August 2022 (UTC) Hi! You should check out WP:Reliable sources and WP:GNG, it's got complete information about how to identify good sources. Most of the sources on the draft are written by the subject or they're considered to be unreliable sources. Once you take some time to get acquainted with proper sourcing, it'll be easier to identify good sources from bad ones. BuySomeApples (talk) 04:05, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Jinx (Crumb album)

[edit]

On 7 August 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jinx (Crumb album), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the indie band Crumb wrote Jinx after a near-fatal car accident? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jinx (Crumb album). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Jinx (Crumb album)), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Woo! BuySomeApples (talk) 08:39, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, User:BuySomeApples. The 4 denials so far have prompted me to scour the citations and revise the Draft:Andrew Straw article. Each time I responded to a rejection, the quality of the article increased. It went from a B-Class article up to an FA-Class article, this high rating being assigned after I made the changes you suggested. Thank you! It is very rewarding to see the quality increase so quickly and while it is at some level frustrating to have the article rejected, it has only meant the article will increase in quality. I hope you'll stop by and take another look. This is the page showing Draft:Andrew Straw as now being FA-Class: Wikipedia:AfC sorting. You made that happen.
