Information icon Hello, I'm DrKay. I noticed that you recently removed content from Prince of Scotland without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hello. DrKay, I am still making edits to the content. "Focusing history" on the United Kingdom. James United the Kingdoms so there is no Prince of Scotland like there is not Prince of England. The titles ceased to exist on the unification. Most of the facts are correct as they relate to Great Steward of Scotland or Duke Rothesay. Please note there is not data on the piece to support Prince of Scotland outside of opinion...and there is not official designation by the British Parliament. Even a search on the https://www.royal.uk/ and type in Prince of Scotland and there are no results. Thanks for tip on the sandbox. New to this and looking to update content that may not be fact based. Britishroadshow (talk) 20:02, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously false: e.g. Royal Family website: "Prince and Great Steward of Scotland", Britannica: "Prince and Great Steward of Scotland" easily found within seconds. DrKay (talk) 20:15, 27 October 2023 (UTC) Amended 15:55, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
People can find proof of Big Foot in Seconds...does not make it true. Obviously the links are not factual. https://www.royal.uk/search?search_text=Prince+of+Scotland+&op=Search Nothing in this search. It appears your might be skilled on spinning the facts.
No one was looking to be disruptive but Wikipedia asked from more soures on the article and you just removed those sources Britishroadshow (talk) 20:32, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You claimed that Hello! magazine said the title no longer existed and can only be created by act of parliament[1]. The source says no such thing. The title "Prince of Scotland" is not mentioned anywhere. If you continue to make up garbage, you will be blocked. DrKay (talk) 20:38, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did need to add more sources and I did. But as I added edits and sources, they were immediately removed. Wikipedia asked for more sources as the data is not correct or supported. 'This article needs additional citations for verification. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed.'
There is much in the piece that states sources say but no sources were included.
Of course you could not find Prine of Scotland on the Royal Family website as it does not exist. King Charles did not mention this title for the Prince of Wales which is easily sourced...bescause the title does not exist.
Call what I posted garbage but it is fact. Britishroadshow (talk) 20:48, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I already provided you a page on the Royal Family website where the title is clearly used. You can't just keep spouting garbage and expect people to fall for your hoax. DrKay (talk) 20:53, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously the website says nothing about Charles or William as Prince of Scotland. You only assume as much.
this is exact script:
Scotland
His Majesty The King shares a fondness for Scotland. The Duke of Rothesay spent time in the country both carrying out public engagements and privately at Birkhall on the Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire. His Majesty is Patron of a number of Scottish organisations such as the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Scottish Wildlife Trust, Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society, Glasgow School of Art and the Gordon Highlanders Museum. (No mention of a Prince of Scotland Title)
William as per the Royal Family Website:
Prior to becoming The Prince of Wales, His Royal Highness was known as The Duke of Cambridge. He was given the title The Duke of Cambridge by Queen Elizabeth II on the day he married Miss Catherine Middleton in 2011. Upon the death of Her Majesty and the Accession of King Charles III, Prince William also became The Duke of Cornwall.
Strange there is no mention of Prince of Scotland. And nothing in the media or source on the page.
Seems you are under the impression your blustery language and misinterpreting the facts is why Wikipedia wants more information with truthful content and less opinion. Even Wikipedia understand the Prince of Scotland Wikipedia page is not fact based and the sources do not confirm the page. What did you call it …. Garbage?
The Royal Family says nothing about Prince of Scotland. A search reveals no content. Why? Making such a statement would alienate Scotland and further lead to the UK’s demise: Sad to see when it all began with Unification under a real Prince of Scotland.
when do you think Scotland will vote again for independence? And will they take a King? 24.154.202.248 (talk) 23:58, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I did notice you have changed the page title but it is still not factually correct. There is no official title but “commonly known”. There are many who would refute the title. As stated there is no mention of the Title on Royal Family Website. There is no formal process to crown a Prince in Scotland and no formal transfer of the title. I would suggest Prince be Removed from title and Simply go with Great Steward. Creating arbitrary titles is not fair to history or the Scottish People. If you want to call out commonly known that would be factually correct. Over reaching with Royal Titles in these day and times is not helpful to the monarchy survival. Scotland does not have the same…. The Royal website says Charles has a Fondness” for Scotland….Scotland does not have same fondness for the Monarchy. There has not been an official Prince since the 1600’s Britishroadshow (talk) 08:58, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously false. Citations for Prince and [Great] Steward include the official website[2][3], the official Gazette[4] and laws passed by the Scottish[5] and British[6][7][8] parliaments. If you continue to abuse this talk page by using it to post hoaxes, I will remove your ability to edit this page and others. Amazing there are no mentions of Prince of Scotland at https://www.royal.uk/. search comes up empty.
The search does no better here ----> https://www. britannica.com /search?query=Prince+of+Scotland and or -----> at britannica.com biography William-prince-of-Wales.
The official title is acutally Duke of Rothesay while the Prince of Wales is in Scotland. ---> William, Prince of Wales.
The titles of Prince and Great Steward are historic titles from before the unification. The Royal Family Website Documents the Role of the Prince of Wales while in Scotland and the role of Monarchs in Scotland ----> https://www.royal.uk/scottish-monarchs-ad400-1603
The Peerage of Scotland has no role of Prince. -----> Peerage of Scotland
I am happy with the page title change but there still needs to be historical context. I have found no reference to British Parliment Creating the title. Can you provide exact link? It was created by Scottish Parliment but really not a title until Scotland would have independence from the United Kingdom. If I am wrong, provide exact link.
There is no reason to be bombastic and threatening. No one has posted a hoax...the fact you changed the title page more than the supports discrepancies in historical context. Wikipedia is asking for more sources. it appears you want to be the keeper of the keys to the Kingdom. I will open dispute with Wikipedia to help clarify the sources and detials. Britishroadshow (talk) 15:27, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"I have found no reference to British Parliment Creating the title." Obviously you wouldn't. Why would you? Try reading my comments for a change. And the citations I've already given. DrKay (talk) 15:55, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did find source on the Official Title which is used by the Scottish Parliment under the Crown's Consent. It is the Prince of Wales. Chapter 3
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/kings-or-princes-consent/kings-and-princes-consent#appendix-b-the-prince-and-steward-of-scotland
In this Chapter, clarity is provided of the Prince and Great Steward of Scotland's Role and Title. The title only exist to govern the lands owned by the Crown not Scotland. This may clarify any descepency in details. Appendix 9 clarifies the details.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/kings-or-princes-consent/kings-and-princes-consent#appendix-b-the-prince-and-steward-of-scotland
This would show Prince of Wales is not a Prince of Scotland but Prince and Great Steward of the Crowns Lands in Scotland. Appendix 9 would be a good source to explain title and explain why the Prince of Wales is called a Duke when he is in Scotland.
Abolition of Feudal Tenure etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 opens the questtion of the title was eliminated or if there was any need for the Prince and Great Steward of Scotland
Changing the title page goes long way. Prince of Wales is not a Prince of Scotland as outlined by the Scottish Parliment. Britishroadshow (talk) 19:32, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think the confusion began with the Title of the Article was Prince of Scotland. You have made exceptional updates. I am new to this process but do appreciate you taking the time and effort to update and clarify the detials. Britishroadshow (talk) 20:23, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
