Information icon Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Aircraft carrier that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - BilCat (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Aircraft carrier shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. - BilCat (talk) 05:12, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please note that ship type articles such as Aircraft carrier do not generally use infoboxes, which is why there isn't one there. Infoboxes are unnecessary for that type of article, as there is little information that needs to be given in an infobox format. Also, it's best to discuss changes to the main images on the article's talk page first, to get an agreement with other editors to support the new image. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 05:28, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Aircraft carrier. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - BilCat (talk) 19:58, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  DMacks (talk) 21:09, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
