[edit]If you really are Melissa Lauren, please see the "Problems with an article about you" section of Wikipedia:Autobiography. Dismas|(talk) 06:54, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- I've been explaining my edits in my edit summaries. You can find these by clicking on the "history" tab at the top of the article.
- My problem with the first edits you made were that the pushing of the blog seemed like advertising. And the image that you uploaded is scheduled for deletion since you haven't provided any proof of permission. This last edit was again to remove the image. I have no way of checking the web sites right now.
- Also, the link that I provided above is the best way for you to deal with problems in an article about you. You have an issue with the web site that is listed and apparently have an image that you'd like to use. Since you have a problem with the article, I gave you the link to the "problems with..." page.
- And finally, please sign your posts to my (or anyone's) talk page by putting four tildes at the end of the message, like this ~~~~. That will automatically put your user name and the time stamp on your comment like I am doing with mine. Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 07:10, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Regarding your comment, "I sent the picture permission to wiki... ridiculous considering i OWN the picture. But, it;s done.", I'd just like to point out that it's not ridiculous. There was nothing that asked you to prove who you are when you created your account or when you uploaded that image. Anyone could claim to be you and could create an account with your name as the user name. Dismas|(talk) 21:27, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks and welcome
[edit]- First of all, thanks for improving wikipedia by participating in the article which is devoted to you. Regarding the image, I think the best solution would be for you to send an email of authorization to Wikimedia Commons. This way the new image you provided will not be deleted.
The address is the following : permissions-commons@wikimedia.org .
A model for a typical authorization email is provided here :

My opinion is that since your blog is free and you are in control of it, it is a valid link to be provided in your article. Hektor (talk) 08:14, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot, again, for sending the authorization letter to Commons. You are very patient ;) Merci pour votre patience. Hektor (talk) 14:48, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:05, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
