Reverting Vandalism
[edit]Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from Mr Hudson. Note that old versions of Wikipedia articles are kept in their page history, and it is usually better to deal with vandalism by using the page history to restore the previous version, rather than removing it manually, as otherwise any content removed by the vandal is not restored. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. Turgan Talk 00:10, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Acid: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Turgan Talk 01:46, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
Just a note
[edit]Regarding your comments in AfD discussions, have a look at Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions. Votes with no explanation or discussion don't add anything and don't count. Also, "speedy delete" refers to the specific speedy deletion criteria -- if something can't fit under them then claiming speedy delete does not get it removed faster (the AfD process normally takes a week). • Anakin (talk) 04:52, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
