My Practice Article Changes

[edit]

I added some content to this page. First, it said the fire started on June 6, 2010 in the first sentence under Background, so I corrected that. Also, the first five sentences under Background were not cited. Searching the reference list, I realized that the citation on the sixth sentence was meant to cover all six sentences, but I added the updated citation at the end of each sentence for clarity. I also added clarity to the sentence about when the fire was considered completely contained or out. Finally, the original author listed three of the seven trails closed during the fire, and I added the names of all seven and a new reference. I also added my own content about the effect on the two closest cities Estes Park and Grand Lake and linked to their Wikipedia pages. I also added content about the firefighting tactic used to control the fire. Finally, the National Park Service announced on their website the reopening of the seven trails thirty days after the end of the fire, so I included that updated information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bgould4 (talkcontribs) 04:02, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's a pretty solid reference for your opinion. Keep up the good work. DNMaurer (talk) 20:19, 6 September 2015 (UTC)DNMaurer[reply]
