Comments re suggested redraft of Scotland: Geography sub-section

[edit]

My question is - assuming that this revision becomes adequate after input from interested parties, how can its integrity then be maintained? Ben MacDui (Talk) 20:08, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's a good question. I have by-and-large ceased to contribute to that article, because no matter what you add and how good it is, so many people edit the page. You could add 20 footnotes per line, but someone who comes along with one of the those Idiots Guides to X, published in 1829, will believe they're entitled to replace it. Others want to add the info they think is important, and the article will not only spiral down in quality, but up in size, far beyond the maximum recommended.
