Edits to BlackPearl14

Hi! I realize that it was in your best interests to revert things on my page, however, it was only me editing my account. I apologize for the inconvenience, but next time, please allow me to edit my own pages and/or revert them. Thank you so much! BlackPearl14Bella Swan 00:31, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

No problem, and thank you so much for taking the time to do that. You can revert the vandalism, since often, yes, I can't tell, so sorry about that, but I really appreciate all the things you've done. :) Cheers, BlackPearl14Bella Swan 20:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank You!

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my page. The same guy (who I personally know) keeps vandalizing wikipedia. I was wondering how you found that my page was vandalized or how other pages are vandalized (according to the messages above). Thanks again, and if you need help, have concerns, or need to reach me please place comments on my talk page. Juthani1 talk 01:50, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

No Problem, I spotted the change whilst scanning the RC on USER pages...my userpage has been vandalised a few times too :(

Thanks for signing my guest book. By the way, didn't you send me an e-mail?

You're welcome and thanks for e-mailing me. I don't get e-mail very often so I'm always happy when I do... XD ♥Tory~AmuletHeart18:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

...for the heads-up about my userpage. I use IE so wasn't aware - I'm also a codephobic and my formatting skills roughly equal my atom-splitting abilities, so this may take some time. I'll try to figure out what I've done wrong and may ask you to check it again in Firefox for me at some point, if that's OK. Cheers, -- Karenjc 12:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

If you wouldn't mind, that would be much appreciated. Feel free to experiment! -- Karenjc 14:04, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Deleting Zeravshan Airport

Thank you for your instantaneous response! You put the right template in the right place while I was still fumbling with Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. I hope Zeravshan Airport will get "speedily deleted". --Zlerman (talk) 14:39, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Arthur W Graham III

Hey sorry, I saw the article and was trying to do some research on it, I came a cross the web page where all the information came from and it was word for word as the wiki page the picture is from the web site as well. The page is www.indy500.com and I assume the material and photo are both copyrighted. Once again sorry for my mistake. Mcdooglede (talk) 15:39, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

OK, thanks...--Badgernet (talk) 15:41, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

For taking care of the 'edit' on my userpage, i dont want to call it vandalism because well im going to assume it was good faith:) Keep up the great work, Happy Wikipeding Roadrunnerz45 (talk 2 me) 15:02, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

No problemo, good faith perhaps...or was it ?

Hi Badgernet; Jimelomarwrights didn't remove an AfD template on this article, he removed a Prod template, which he can do if he objects to the proposed deletion. If it's remove again I recommend actually taking it to AfD. Gah, maybe I should've just speedied the thing. Marasmusine (talk) 16:38, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

ooops... yeah my mistake, I saw it as a csd, d'oh! --Badgernet (talk) 16:44, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

Hampster

I didn't vandalize the page, I was trying to find a way to get the red link to go to the right page, but I wasn't totally sure exactly which page that was... I didn't notice there was any vandalism if I had I would have undid it. I have been making an effort to edit more than I used to because I was told I didn't edit enough... its hard for me though, ebcause all of my edits are out of good faith but are often reverted because I don't know how to add the reference. ♥Tory~AmuletHeart15:57, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Oh okay, got it. Sorry I misunderstood you. ♥Tory~AmuletHeart16:04, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Statustop template: alternate updating method

SoxBot V has been taken offline indefinitely, therefore {{Statustop}} now uses a semi-manual updating method taking the status from Special:Mypage/Status. You can use the Qui monobook script written by TheDJ to update this page at the click of a button.

Certain parameters are no longer used, so you may wish to check the documentation of the Statustop template to ensure you are using it properly. Please feel free to drop by my talk page with any questions or concerns or to report problems with the template. Happy editing, xenocidic ( talk ¿ listen ) 14:00, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, it's not obvious to me why these should be deleted. Can you let me know please? Thanks, Mallanox 10:40, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi, picked-up on recently blanked pages from [SQLBot/Blanked], they appear to be bad redirects. Cheers, --Badgernet (talk) 11:05, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Cool, someone else got to them before me anyway! Mallanox 11:20, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

RE: Userpage

Thanks for telling me, but I have Firefox. I noticed that today... Umm... To tell you the truth, I really don't know how to make the navigation bar go down as well. Perhaps you or my adopter could help...? Chimchar monferno (talk) 23:13, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much for editting my User page! (Even though I don't know you and only met you because you posted something on my talk page, I still owe you a thanks.) It looks much more better, now that you've moved those boxes down. Chimchar monferno (talk) 03:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Accidental vandalism

Sorry about the deletions when I have been trying to input more accurate material. Can I submit pictures for consideration to be used on Wikipedia where someone with a lot more expertise can consider and include as necessary. Hey there!

Thanks for the little welcome! I'm new at all this and it's much appreciated. I only mucked around with a few things last night but I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty and writing! I'll be lurking around the pages for Ancient History, literiture and Australian politics . . . special areas of interest . . . how bout you??

Thanks again, Purplegirl11021994 (talk) 03:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

I tend to lurk around the articles of Wikipedia:WikiProject Wales, Geo and History plus started to do some Wikipedia:WikiProject Disambiguation fixes relating to Wales...oh and trying to stem the tide of vandalism through recent changes patrolling, Have fun, --Badgernet (talk) 08:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Are you kidding me?! Who vandalises other peoples' work just for fun?! What's the point? And how do you know who the culprit is?? Oh gawd . . . some poeple really are stupid for the sake of it. What is the policy with trolls and vadalism here?

Deletion of Castelbouc

I am not sure if it is the right place for this comment, but it seems that I am inappropriately being called a vandal on my talk page for a speedy deletion. While the deletion of the redirect may be appropriate (the article may need its own page) is in no case the consequence of a vandal page move. Underwaterbuffalo (talk) 13:34, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

vandalism?

kelly bag entry

Hi _ i am new here and trying to figure everything out - I apologize if I have sent more than one message. Can you please tell me why my page was deleted for blatant advertising? What did it look like it was advertising, and if you have any suggestions on how to change it? ThanksPanninaro (talk) 17:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Replied., --Badgernet (talk) 20:38, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Re; Warning

That was a mistake on my part. I was trying to revert the vandalism à la Special:RecentChanges. I did not know that the page was already reverted, and I apologize for my actions. David Yeung (talk) 16:27, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi, can you cmplete the AfD for this page. I am afraid I did not succed and not well-versed in doing manually. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 09:48, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Loughton history

Hi Badgernet,

pleasse don't delete the new Loughton history page. Somebody who knows nothing about Loughton history keeps editing out large chunks of the history section in the main Loughton page, so I started a new page with the intention of editing down the history section in the main page to a few brief subheads with a link to the new page —Preceding unsigned comment added by Utriusque (talkcontribs) 15:09, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your intentions. Only an Admin has the power to delete the page, Best wishes, --Badgernet (talk) 15:14, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Can you nominate this for deletion for me? I couldn't figure out how to do it. Sorry if it looked like vandalism, I am not quite sure how you are meant to do it. I don't think that the subject of the article is anywhere near notable enough for an article, nor do I think that there is enough information on him to ever create an encyclopaedia-worthy article on him. Thanks. Myrrideon (talk) 15:26, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

'fraid it looks like he may pass notability test of WP:ATHLETE, Regards, --Badgernet (talk) 15:34, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Please can you nominate it for deletion for me, or show me how to. I am not convinced that someone who has appeared in 2 first class games 90 years ago is sufficiently notable, especially when there is absolutely nothing that is known about his life. Myrrideon (talk) 17:06, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I followed the instructions on the link you gave me but it doesn't look right. Gah, this process is too hard. It's no wonder we end up with rubbish articles like the one on T. K. Sukumaran if it's this hard to get rid of them. Myrrideon (talk) 18:20, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Based on what it says, PROD doesn't sound appropriate and AFD is the right way to go. You seem to be disputing it anyway. Myrrideon (talk) 18:36, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Addendum - well there is an exceptionally weak argument being pushed by everyone, in that in spite of getting the facts wrong, the fact that Cricket Archive wrote about him and suggest that he played 2 first class games is enough. Of course, the fact that Cricinfo calls him by another name, the fact that he doesn't have a birthdate or any information about him whatsoever doesn't seem to matter. It seems that it is perfectly acceptable to have a biographical article about someone who we don't even know the name of. WTF? Myrrideon (talk) 08:38, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Sharanya_Manivannan

Hello Badgernet, I completely agree that Sharanya Manivannan's page do not meet the notability guideliness because of which I tried to delete it. Please do something about it. James Michael. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.225.230.66 (talk) 13:37, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

A wp:prod tag has been added to the article, it will be deleted in about 5 days time on the 29th if nobody objects. Page blanking or content removal will not speed this up. --Badgernet Talk 13:48, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
