An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of most-viewed Indian videos on YouTube, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Shaan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

I need some help in updating the list. I have no trouble updating the numbers on the list, as all it takes is to click on the link and check and copy the numbers, rounded to the nearest 0.01 of a million. I think the following Cocomelon videos need to be added to this list.

You may want to check the following link for more videos that have at least 1,200,000 dislikes: https://www.youtube.com/user/checkgate/videos?view=0&sort=p&flow=grid

Man, five years ago, this list was mainly people like Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Rebecca Black, but now the kid channels are dominating the list. The big three names in this category are Cocomelon, Pinkfong, and Simple Songs, but mostly Cocomelon. There are just too many videos on Cocomelon's channel to manage in one sitting, as the numbers for those videos grow rapidly. Seckends (talk) 13:01, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PS: This comment was originally posted on the talk page of that article, but after waiting hours in vain without getting a response, I moved it here. This article is a very popular page on Wikipedia, and it is useful to the users who read it. The main reason I think it is important to update this list is so readers will have accurate, up-to-date information. Seckends (talk) 13:05, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for tagging me. A few days back I was making a list of most liked & disliked videos in India, and the top 8 out of 9 disliked videos are children's videos. I have updated the list. Kindly go through it in case I missed something. I have not added notes and archive information, you can add them if necessary. me_arunkt (talk) 23:34, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect one reason why children's videos are so high on the list is that many of those watching the videos are toddlers tapping on tablets, who have little understanding of what the buttons do and are just as likely to hit Like and Dislike as any other random area on their tablet's screen. It might help explain why even children's videos with extremely high Dislike counts seem not to go above 50%. Soap 19:07, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do we need the daily updates?

[edit]

Do we need the daily updates?[1][2][3] Every time you edit this page, the changes appear on other people's watchlists, and there's no need to be obsessively meticulous about a YouTuber's stats. Would updating the data on a weekly basis be sufficient? Also, please update |stats_update= when you make these changes. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:40, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:01, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
