How to lock a Wikipedia page

Sir how to lock Wikipedia page Shivamkashyap610 (talk) 14:14, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

This is my whatsapp (redacted) Shivamkashyap610 (talk) 14:16, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

Shivamkashyap610
Immediately above where you left your post, it states ♦♦♦ Please put new posts at the BOTTOM of the page and include a title set between double == signs ♦♦♦ why did you not do so?
As for your question - only admins can lock a Wikipedia page, and they will only do it, if the page has been repeatedly vandalized by several different editors.
I assume you are talking about Government model high school sector 25, which has not been repeatedly vandalized - in fact, the only person who has vandalized that page, seems to be you - Arjayay (talk) 15:06, 16 March 2021 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Karki (surname). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Morderngoogle (talkcontribs) 09:25, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

Jogorog903 That simply will NOT happen, as Wikipedia is not censored so we show images of Muhammad. This has been discussed at great length, and will NOT be changed.

Hi, it is regarding this. Shouldn't we be moving the "born in Daman, India" part to "Personal life" section as per WP:ETHNICITY? - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:59, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi Fylindfotberserk,
I understand your argument, but WP:ETHNICITY incudes "previous nationalities or the place of birth should not be mentioned in the lead unless they are relevant to the subject's notability." (my underlining) Given the huge Indian following she has, I think that comes under "relevant to the subject's notability", so there is an arguable exception.
If you don't think the exception is adequate, or sufficient, I'm not going to argue with you,
Having made 115 edits to the page (28% of the total), I am fairly familiar with the subject and the page history, especially the nationality issue. I am certain that, if we don't include something about India in the lead, we will go back to the never-ending attempts to label her as Indian, which AFAIK she isn't - as Indians cannot have dual nationality. That is why I removed the description "Indian" from before singer, but kept the PoB, removing the pipe so the word India appears near the beginning.
Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 17:32, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Fair enough, but I think we should be using WP:Independent instead of the SPS. We already have one in teh infobox. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:45, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Ok that's a fair point - I'll leave that to you - Arjayay (talk) 17:48, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

I'm new here and kind of lost

Hi, I tried to edit a current news item about a TV show and you canceled my edit .. even though I added an external quote. I tried to add a little more explanation about the city I live in and then I got a warning comment from a bot. Also finding where to write to you took me a long time ... still not sure I'm answering you in the right place. What am I doing wrong? Why is it so complicated? I do not write lies or inappropriate things ... I do not feel comfortable volunteering and editing anymore... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Orlorl (talkcontribs) 14:47, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

Hi Orlorl
Yes you are in the right place, and you added a section title, but please sign all posts on talk pages (not in articles) with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp.
I'm sorry you have had a bad experience when starting to editing Wikipedia - there are an awful lot of policies and guidelines to follow - I'm sure there are many that I've never even come across, and I have been here over 13 years, and have over 370,000 edits.
I can see that your edits have been in good faith, and your edit at Moshe Ivgy‎ appears correctly formatted and referenced, so has not been removed or re-edited.
All additional information needs to be cited to a reliable source (please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "How-to"). Your later edits at Shtisel were unreferenced, and your edits at Netanya were unreferenced, added companies without their own articles, which is the normal requirement for inclusion in a list, and an WP:External link in the body of the article - which, as explained on your talk page, we do not do.
The simple starting to edit guide is WP:The Wikipedia Adventure which, being a game, some new editors think is beneath them, but I think it is worth spending some time on it, to understand procedures better. If you have any questions, please just ask, either here, or at the WP:Teahouse, which is open 24/7, and is worth perusing to see what problems other editors have, and what the solutions are. Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 15:43, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi Arjayay
I gave it one more try! Hope I did it right this time! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Orlorl (talkcontribs) 10:09, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi Orlorl - nearly right. Firstly, you didn't sign your post on this page, as per the request above, and secondly, we normally put references at the end of sentences to avoid breaking up the readers flow, so I moved it. Stick with it - it is a long learning curve - best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 10:18, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

my edit on Balochistan entry that you reverted

My edit on the Balochistan entry that you reverted did not require a citation to a source. Why not? Because I was not adding new information; rather, I was re-writing a sentence to reflect more accurately the content of an already cited source: a newspaper article about a 2012 Gallup poll on sentiment about Balochistan autonomy and independence. If you go back and look at the (reverted) edit and also at the source in question, I think you will see what I was doing, namely trying to characterize more accurately the results of that poll as reported in the newspaper article.Redound (talk) 20:28, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Please read Help:Referencing for beginners and add references to support all the claims you have made.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pewdiecake2music requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Another article

Hi, do you have this one in your watchlist? Prone to same commonname disruptive edits, just less frequent than other similar articles. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 19:09, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

No Fylindfotberserk it wasn't (but now is) - I've had to trim my watchlist as they can have problems if they go over about 5000 entries - best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 21:33, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
Thanks. What kind of problems we face if they get over 5,000? I have 8,200+ in my list. I tried trimming them manually but I kinda feel attached to them . So, I've started to set watchlist period (months, weeks) on random articles that are not that important. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 06:29, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi Fylindfotberserk
In my early days I had "Add pages and files I edit to my watchlist" checked in "Preferences" so it grew very quickly. I'm not sure how many it got to, but it started to take ages to load and refresh, and often appeared in default text (or whatever its real name is, when it is just left-margined text, without all the usual buttons)
I changed my Preferences, trimmed it down, and the problem seemed to clear up. I didn't know about the suggested limit of 5000 until a lot later when I read this thread
If you are not having any problems, and from that thread, some people have much larger lists, then don't worry about it - best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 09:23, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
Till now haven't faced this problem in my watchlist. But I face some other kind of things, especially around 10:30 to 12:30 at night (happening for last 3 months), when only Wikipedia seems to get real slow. Last year after I returned from my break, it used to happen all day. But after one month, everything was fine. Disabling twinkle helps reduce this problem by partly, but not wholly. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:36, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

gnoming on my Inuit articles

Just wanted to say thank you for your gnoming! I don't know how I keep leaving duplicate words around, but I'm terribly grateful for detail-oriented people like you who catch those things. Cheers! ♠PMC(talk) 17:35, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Thanks PMC "gnoming on my Inuit articles" eh? there's a phrase you don't hear very often! (Worryingly, I read it as "grooming" initially)
I'm trying to understand whether people don't have spelling/grammar checkers, have turned them off, or just ignore them - but I never get a reply when I ask - any comment?
Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 18:12, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
Hah! Very reasonable question. I don't use a grammar checker as I've found they often highlight things that aren't wrong as incorrect and vice versa, which sort of defeats the purpose. Unfortunately, the price I pay is the occasional dropped or duplicate word :P ♠PMC(talk) 18:19, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Draft:Montecarmelo

Sorry, I didn’t saw the page didn’t accept Drafts as references, now it has become clear to me. Is there any way in which my draft is considered an official Wikipedia page? Does a moderator have to approve it or something?

Hello Yoigo user from Madrid
At the top of the page, on the line above where you left your post, it clearly states "♦♦♦ Please put new posts at the BOTTOM of the page ...."
Also, please sign all posts on talk pages (but NOT in articles) with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp.
As for your question, I have added a talkpage header, which includes a button to press when your draft is ready to be considered, but I would NOT do that at the moment, the two references , both to bus routes, need to be formatted correctly {please see Help:Referencing for beginners, and you need some references to show that Montecarmelo is "notable", i.e. deserves an article, just having 2 bus-routes does not make a place notable - best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 08:37, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

"Iff" is not a typo

Hello, regarding your recent edit of Simulation (computer science): the term iff is commonly used in mathematics and computer science to mean if and only if. It is not a misspelling. Changing "iff" to "if" can drastically change the meaning of a mathematical statement. Please, next time consider this before correcting. --109.81.214.106 (talk) 17:36, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

(recent changes stalker) Maybe a good idea to wikilink iff to avoid confusion. Pelagicmessages ) – (04:44 Wed 21, AEDT) 17:44, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
It was already wikilinked in previous text. --109.81.214.106 (talk) 22:14, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

Please Explain

I admit that my reference spelling in Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhono Khete Asenni was incorrect, but you did not fix it by hand, reverted it twice and removed the entire visualization paragraph. Now you say again, that information was without references. But you didn't give me a chance to add references to the article I created. You have reverted it twice as soon as I add the information. It seems to me that your reverts are vandalism. Please explain why you have reverted the entire Visualization paragraph without just fixing a spelling. ≈ MS Sakib  «TalK» 07:08, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello dear Arjayay!

I incorrectly published my supplement to the topic of beekeeping and that's why you removed it - the article about the beeswax frame. However, this article is not an advertisement. I do not sell frames. This article should be placed on another topic: "Beehive". Readers will be grateful because this is very important. The article about the liquid honey feeder is also not an advertisement. The fact that the name of the author is indicated does not mean that it is an advertisement. I don't sell feeders, but readers should know that there is a feeder for liquid honey. This is also an important article.

— Preceding unsigned comment added by Petr73 (talkcontribs) 22:02, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
No Petr73, your additions are clearly self-promotional - you mention your name four times, link to your user-page, which we do not do, and fail to cite any sources, let alone the reliable, independent, sources that additions to Wikipedia require. - Arjayay (talk) 09:25, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Well done Arjayay, I understand you. I really haven't met any important requirements in Wikipedia. My name does not have to be published four times. But I myself invented this bee feeder for liquid honey and published it in a national newspaper. I did not get a patent because this invention of mine is too simple and elementary. People make it themselves at home. Patent law is too expensive for me. I am just an ordinary beekeeper and researcher. No beekeeping company for inventory would buy my license for the production of feeders because these are cheap things and there is no profit from them. I would be happy when ordinary beekeepers respect me for making the world a better place with my inventions, even though I have no financial gain from this advertising of mine. You have a lot of experience here on Wikipedia, and you can correct my article properly so that readers can read, learn, and know that there is such a liquid honey feeder, and that I invented it myself without advertising myself. times. You can make important adjustments, correct so that there is no self-promotion. Come on, I thank you in advance if you can get at least some of my feeder back in good condition, following the rules in the encyclopedia, because thousands of beekeepers will be able to save their bees from starvation in the winter with the honey feeder if you let them read this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Petr73 (talk) 09:08, 22 April 2021 (UTC) Petr73 (talkcontribs) Petr73 (talk) 09:06, 22 April 2021 (UTC) 21:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Sorry Petr73, but no. You are clearly still trying to promote "your" feeder (you describe it as "my feeder"), and have a clear conflict of interest in so doing. Even if, as you state, you do not make money out of it, you are still trying to promote yourself as the inventor.
Furthermore, even if we remove all reference to you, as I stated above, all additions to Wikipedia should be supported by citations to reliable, independent, sources, but you have failed to provide any such sources. Sorry, but best wishes, Arjayay (talk) 12:53, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

My sources are reliable! In the National Bulgarian Library there are national beekeeping newspapers in which I am the author of many articles on beekeeping. You go and read them to see that they are reliable! There is no conflict of interest! Why do you want me to look for other people to write about me, is it necessary for every beekeeper to teach him how to become an editor like you in Wikipedia ?? Petr73 (talk) 08:22, 23 April 2021 (UTC) Here's what you're going to do now: 1. you will publish the text "Feeder for liquid honey, created by eng. Petrakov - Bulgaria" 2. you will post a picture with the feeder. I just want this so that beekeepers know how to feed their bees.

Don't be stubborn! Do what I tell you so that I don't report you to your boss! I see that you did not understand the terms in Wikipedia well and you are addicted. I will not write that you invented the feeder, because I invented it!Petr73 (talk) 08:31, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

You ask "Why do you want me to look for other people to write about me" - because that is the way Wikipedia works.
As I have twice stated above, all additions to Wikipedia should be supported by citations to reliable, independent, sources
I will certainly not be doing what you tell me to do. If you want to report me, please do so, but I suggest you read this first. Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 08:41, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

Abd el-Krim

Hello fellow editor

Someone is adding dubious material to Abd el-Krim from two users Barcelona12345 and 02botGMMR. Can you protect the page and block the two users? They are doing the same thing to their page Massinissa Akandouch 197.153.20.143 (talk) 06:50, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello IP from Kenitra, Morocco - I can't protect the page, or block the users, as I am not an admin.
In any case, one of the IPs has had no warnings whatsoever, and the other just one warning, last month, so they would not be blocked even if I was an Admin.
Furthermore, although the page has had a few minor unsourced edits, that is nowhere near the level of disruption required to consider protecting a page.
Of course, if it was protected, you could not edit it either. - Arjayay (talk) 09:40, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

I am actually from Tangier, Morocco. Thank you for the Reply. IS there a rule for peple login to two accounts to edit wikipedia? I think that Barcelona12345 and 02botGMMR are the same person. 197.153.20.143 (talk) 17:33, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

IP tracers are not always accurate - you should consider WP:Creating an account. As for 2 accounts, AFAIK although deprecated, it is not against the rules, unless they are used to multi-vote or disguise edit-warring. As one of them hasn't made any edits at all this month. I think you may be imagining things - Arjayay (talk) 20:10, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Faversham

Arjayay, re:Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Faversham, I disagree with your view. The school badge was ahead of its time when designed and still is remarkable in its design. It is a notable feature of the school's heritage such that it appears top right of the Wikipedia page. Given the time now elapsed I may genuinely be the only person left who knows its provenance. There is no reference I can quote, but if I don't record it here, this piece of knowledge may be lost forever. MarthaLuke (talk) 13:38, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Sorry, MarthaLuke but Verifiability is one of the principal policies of Wikipedia, not just a guideline, so it is not open to discussion.
Wikipedia is not interested in who you are, where you went to school, or what you "know", it are only interested in what has already been published in reliable, independent sources.
The burden is upon whoever adds information to also provide a detailed reference, from a reliable source, to enable people to verify the information in the future.- Arjayay (talk) 13:54, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your proofreading

{P.S. I think you'll find it's a second, not an second) - Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 09:19, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Yes, my browser does have, although since I'm in Canada it defaults to Canadian spellings, so I have to partially ignore it. Good point about "an" second. (Duh.) I think most of what you've fixed in my work is duplicate words rather than spelling errors. Wreck Smurfy (talk) 00:46, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Pappu

I notice that you have removed links to Rahul Gandhi from Pappu recently. You don't seem to have been involved in either Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard/Archive 86#Mentioning the use of "pappu" to insult Rahul Gandhi or the talk-page discussions about this. (Gandhi is arguably the most famous person with this nickname in the world, which probably explains why people keep trying to link to him in that article.) @Masem attempted to add a sourced explanation a few months ago, but got reverted by an editor who has very strong feelings about the subject. Have you looked into this subject before? WhatamIdoing (talk) 02:19, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

List of Modern School Alumni

Arjayay, I added the name of Surendra Nath in the list under "Cricket" as he was a renowned cricketer in his time and played for India in Test cricket. Wikipedia has an article on him but unfortunately his name is not correctly indicated. It should be Surendra Nath and not Raman Surendranath. I knew him personally and I have verified his name with his son.

As to my edits I apologize as I am not familiar with all the details of editing on Wikipedia. Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Modern1955, thanks for your post.
Under Wikipedia rules, I cannot accept what you "know", and the refences in his article are all deadlinks, or in books I don't have, or behind a paywall I'm not prepared to pay.
Fortunately cricinfo verifies his name and dates here, so I have added that to the lead of his article and I have reformatted the addition at List of Modern School alumni which removes the redlink. I hope that is all OK now? Best wishes - Arjayay (talk) 16:06, 22 May 2021 (UTC)

Hello. I don't know! I see word suggestions appear as I write. Most of those are ones in the 'phone's memory which I've used before, though. I always try to remove incorrectly spelt ones, as I don't want them to appear as a suggestion again; as that should reinforce the impression that they were spelt correctly, and nothing should ever be learned. I also try to re-read everything, before posting, to spot any mistake; and still I miss things. I've learned thr value of proofreaders. (REFERRED !) Thanks again. Regards. Heath St John (talk) 16:38, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

...and then I see, "...thr (THE) value of proofreaders", above ! (1: THE.

2:REFERRED).

I think there are nineteen-plus 'R' 's, in 'Grrrrr', etc., arent there? How infuriating ! Thanks again. Heath St John (talk) 16:48, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

That depends Heath St John - I think the British spelling has nineteen, but the American has one less - as in travelled (UK) v traveled (US), and several other words - Arjayay (talk) 17:19, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

When I used to patrol RC every day, I'd set enough filters that I could scroll back a few days, and it was always surprising how many garbage edits were constantly on the verge of slipping off the bottom of the feed. It always made me nervous to think about... because if I hadn't been there to revert it, who knows? Anyway, I saw you issued a uw-vand4 for an edit someone made three days ago, so I want to let you know that you've made me more comfortable about the world.

GauravMaP It is NOT up to me, any other editor, or the reader, to "Read the history of lahore and kasur", to find sources, check your edits, or add references.
The WP:BURDEN is solely on whoever adds or changes any information, to provide a reference from a reliable source that supports those additions or changes.
You are repeatedly failing do do this, which is why your edits have been, and will continue to be, reverted, until you do add proper references - please see Help:Referencing for beginners for the "how to"
Furthermore, you keep deleting properly referenced information, and the references from reliable sources, without any explanation, let alone an acceptable one.
Finally almost all of your edits have false edit summaries e.g. deleting 2,621 bytes of information from Kasur claiming it is a "grammar error"
Please stop all these unacceptable practices, or you will be blocked. - Arjayay (talk) 11:45, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi Wikiuser829
Firstly, please sign all posts on talk pages (but NOT in articles) with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp
Secondly please give posts about a new subject their own title, set between == on each side - as in == New title == and then start your post on the next line
As for your questions, your drafts have not been reviewed, because you have not submitted any of them for review. However, as Draft:Asmita Sharma and Draft:Maa Shakti have no references whatsoever, and Draft:Laxmi Ghar Aayi just has an inline external link to instagram, there is no point whatsoever in submitting them for review, because they will simply be rejected.
Please read Help:Your first article and Help:Referencing for beginners and then add references to support all the information, from WP:Reliable sources, not social media, not Wikipedia, IMDB or other user created websites and not tabloid papers or coffee table magazines.
When you have done that, come back and tell me, and I will be able to advise you further. - Arjayay (talk) 09:31, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

JaisriramJaisriram thank you for your posts
Firstly, please sign all posts on talk pages (but NOT in articles) with 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) which will add your signature and a timestamp
Secondly, please do not start a new section when adding to your previous post.
Thirdly, please preview your posts and do not publish posts with ridiculously oversized images, as included in your last post, which I have now deleted
Fourthly, stop adding multiple posts without giving the person time to respond - you have interrupted me giving this reply several times
As for your question No, Darshan will not be semi protected, at the moment. The only person who has recently vandalized that page is you by repeatedly adding a semi-protected template to an unprotected page. This was clearly explained to you on your talk page, in one of my warnings "Repeatedly adding a protected icon to a unprotected page is, itself, vandalism" - Arjayay (talk) 08:34, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

I'm pleased to your corrections, surely those mistakes shall not be repeated. I've gone through the articles which explain all my mistakes and my apologies for not understanding the actual part of your warning in my talk page.
could you please help me out in cropping an image file which is already uploaded ? JaisriramJaisriram (talk) 09:48, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

JaisriramJaisriram I've just had to remove your signature from in front of a section title, which stops it being a section. Please use the "show preview" button to see the effect of your edits before publishing them.
As for cropping images, sorry I have no knowledge in that area and can't immediately find the relevant guidance - try the pages in this search - Arjayay (talk) 10:11, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Clarification

could you please clarify the reason for changing the image upright size to 0.7 from that of default 1 at Darshan ?
I'm just asking this because as I've seen, the image of the person is not shown in the pop-up box; means, in desktop version if you just bring the cursor over the name, along with the brief info..signature image is shown whereas the same signature image is shown while searching the article in mobile version instead of the showing actual potrait of the person, so keeping this in mind I'm changing the upright size back to default, i.e, 1.
Please resolve if any mistake is done in my unknown point of view, waiting for your responce, thanks JaisriramJaisriram (talk) 15:16, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Help Yourself Band

Why have you removed corrections I made to items on this entry earlier today?

Paul Burton - User Bertiemerri Bertiemerri (talk) 19:04, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi Bertiemerri - as stated in my edit summary at Help Yourself (band) - "Rm EL in body + Names as WP:LASTNAME + PoV" - to explain that further:-
  1. You added a link to Malcolm Morley's website in the body of the article. We do not add such external links in the body of an article
  2. You kept referring to people by their first name - e.g. "Malcolm" + "Sean" we don't do that as per WP:LASTNAME
  3. You used a PoV phrase "Sadly" which, again, we do not do
I have not yet had a chance to check, so I have not corrected it yet, but I am sure Sam Apple Pie played the first Glastonbury festival - is that not true? - Arjayay (talk) 20:13, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi Arjayay, Ok, so I have not understood the rules of Wikipedia. 1) Where should I put an external link to a website then? 2) I use people’s first names as they are all personally known to me. 3) again I use sadly as it is a sad fact that Sean died quite recently. As for Sam Apple Pie playing Glastonbury in 1970 that is correct, but Malcolm Morley didn’t play with them nor did Dave Charles at that time. Malcolm has never played with them, he only played harpsichord on a track of their 1969 album. Help Yourself actually played Glastonbury in 1971. I’m trying to correct incorrect information on their entry and other related entries. Hope this explains and you can tell me what I can and can’t do. Thanks.
