I have reverted a recent edit you made to the article Sexism. You did not provide an edit summary, and I could not determine whether the edit was vandalism or a constructive contribution. I note int his article you list ypes A-I for example for helmets. Any possibility of a description or illustration for each? The name "type A" isn't very instructiv on its own. Cheers - PocklingtonDan 11:59, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I searched wikimedia commons to find images of roman helmets and the image that you see in the article is the only one that I found. You can find images for every type of helmet listed in the page if you search with google but I don't know if they can be included for fair use. Note that I'm not an expert, I added this page because I was modelling a roman helmet in 3d and I searched some photo references for a pair of days. I wrote all that I learned on helmets from this searching in that wikipedia page.--Argento3 21:50, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

wiki-trees

[edit]

Your recent addition of wiki-trees to the genealogy page has been removed. Wikipedia is not a repository of links, and while there are a number of small wiki-trees out there, none is significantly notable yet. Instead, I recommend you join the discussions on MetaWiki regarding the development of a wikimedia version of the program and how best to institute it. thank you. Id Tech edits

[edit]

The "id Tech (x)" engines should be referred to by their original names (and not the revisionist "id Tech" names) for historical purposes and for currently-released games (e.g., id Tech 3 --> Quake III Arena engine, id Tech 4 --> Doom 3 engine). However, for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, "id Tech 4" can be used. Thoughts? Duo02 *dilly-dally shilly-shally** 04:23, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thx for discussing this with me. I reported this discussion in the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games to form a consensus on the nomenclature.--Argento3 08:26, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: please restore okular

[edit]

I've restored the history of the article. Since it was deleted per the Proposed Deletion policy, this is not a problem. PROD-deleted articles could still be deleted via another method, such as Articles for Deletion so I encourage you to work on whichever issues caused the article to be deleted. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Regards, - Rjd0060 (talk) 01:19, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Powder bed and inkjet head 3d printing, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Gavin.perch (talk) 17:27, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
