Your edits to Annie Cruz

[edit]

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to improve Wikipedia with your edits. I had meant to contact you earlier but something in real life pulled me away and it had slipped my mind until another user politely suggested I contact you.

Regarding your edits, I wanted to point out that edits to articles about living persons (see WP:BLP) are highly scrutinized, or should be, and any potentially contentious material requires a reference (see WP:RS)so that the information can be checked. Things such as saying someone has had a divorce would fall into that category. If we put information about a divorce into an article and the subject of the article came and read that, they may get upset if it isn't true. This is why I removed that information after you added it to the article.

If you are "the" Annie Cruz or someone who works closely with her, I'd like to point out WP:OTRS. OTRS helps the subjects of articles by establishing that "they are who they say they are". This helps when users such as myself see unreferenced edits come from various accounts. The OTRS system has helped a number of people make corrections to the articles about them. A few of which you may have worked with or met in your industry. So, I would encourage you to check that out.

So, I apologize for not contacting you sooner. I wasn't trying to be difficult by just removing your edits without contacting you.

If you'd like to reply to me, you can either reply here or, and this is the best way, contact me on my talk page.

Again, thank you for your time, Dismas|(talk) 20:40, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Anniebeautybadass.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:09, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:AnnieCruz.jpg

[edit]
File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:AnnieCruz.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Okki (talk) 08:13, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with the Annie Cruz article

[edit]

My response now is much the same as my first message to you. Please see Wikipedia:Autobiography#Problems in an article about you. It details the best way to get things straightened out and prove who you are. Dismas|(talk) 22:22, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can see more about this at Wikipedia:REALNAME#Real_names and Wikipedia:OTRS noticeboard. -- The Anome (talk) 19:33, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
