Username

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy and that it may be a single purpose account. After you look over those links, could we discuss the name here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name. Note that you can keep your contributions history under a new username if you wish to change it by visiting Wikipedia:Changing username. Nja247 17:43, 2 July 2009 (UTC) Thank you.[reply]

I too share these concerns. You are welcome to respectfully express your views on religion on your userpage, but your current username will certainly prove disruptive and inhibit your interactions with other editors. Wikipedia is only as functional as it is because editors are required by policy to be civil and mutually respectful, and such a name is just asking for people to be pissed off... so I urge you to request a username change at WP:CHU. I can assist you in this if you want. -kotra (talk) 21:38, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
