All About Me
[edit]I am a 22-year-old living in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. I am attending Calvary Bible College majoring in Broadcasting/Mass Communications.
I have created the redlink on your userpage as a redirect to the page about athletics at MU. The article could probably use a cleanup from someone more knowledgeable than this Jayhawk. Let me know if you need any help with the technical stuff. ESkog | Talk 07:34, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:TPKC.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:TPKC.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:UMKC2.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:UMKC2.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. fuzzy510 00:46, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

First Federal Bank of Kansas CIty moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, First Federal Bank of Kansas CIty, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Let's add citations, there is a claim to notability. Sea Cow (talk) 03:11, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. Hi. I know you think you're doing something worthwhile, but the amount of huge mistakes are too many to even describe or sort through. Most of what you've done is unencyclopedic or just a giant mess, and needs to be reverted at the waste of much volunteer time. I don't know how you could possibly think that making a giant wall of road sign icons, as if your own personal art project, is in any way meaningful or simply not obviously a hideous disaster. But you do have a lot of intricate skills and interests that could be very productive. I would be glad to help you learn how to turn it all around. Wikipedia does have a function as a gazetteer, which means that roads and maps and geography are necessary. And there is a lack of people interested in such things. But it must be done correctly. Wikipedia requires WP:RS, and no WP:OR or WP:NOTTRAVELGUIDE. So don't write your personal essays and guides. We can't cite other Wikipedia articles, and we can't make url links to other articles. Please stop spamming zillions of serial public edits, but develop your drafts in a private sandbox. I dunno what else to say until I find out whether you're too obsessed to function collaboratively! Just stop, revert all your edits that are like that, and read everything. Join WP:ROADS and learn all their protocols, and I posted on its Talk page to learn more. — Smuckola(talk) 07:44, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- First of all, thanks for pointing this out to me. I'm currently in the process of reading the articles you provided to better understand the appropriate edits Wikipedia expects. - Though, admittedly, some of seems to be a bit over my head. But I'm still reading. I see I still have a lot of learning to do. In the mean time, rest assured I will stop making edits.
- Secondly, there does seem to be some inconsistency on Wiki pages for major cities for highway logos in the info box. So I am getting conflicting info in that area about what it is acceptable and what isn't. But to err on the side of not wasting any more volunteers hours, I will not edit anything until I fully understand how to do so correctly. J. C. 15:51, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
Adding highway marker graphics to city and locality infoboxes
[edit]This is not typically done, and I would suggest that you reverse your edits. If you'd like to list the highways in a municipality, we'd typically add them to the body of the article in a transportation section. I've typically seen this done with a bulleted list and using {{jct}} to generate the graphics and the appropriate links. While it's technically possible to use |link=
to point a reader clicking on a graphic to an article, this is a bit of an easter egg and should not be done. Imzadi 1979 → 02:08, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
