Request reason:
I have been blocked as a sock puppet of Brian K Horton. Even my rationale, as an academic, for remaining anonymous has been blocked on the talk page of user Zaereth, which the transcript will show I had an ongoing productive dialogue about BLP issues related to the Wap entry for Ariel Fernandez. The origin of the block is most likely user “AndyTheGrump” whose reversions on the AF talk page I challenged. Ironically my blocked post was an explanation for why my anonymity is critical to my academic career, and also relevant to the controversy at hand. How do I proceed in challenging this block for being a sock puppet of someone I have never heard of ?
Decline reason:
Your behavior is similar to that of the other account. If you are not that person, you will need to explain why you were acting just as they have. 331dot (talk) 10:12, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
