Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:06, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Stormy Weather (Miraculous episode), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Plot summaries on Wikipedia are exactly that, a summary. The plot that you are copying from the Fandom page is far, far too detailed. Please don't keep pushing it, it will be reverted. Hello, You moved the draft back to the main namespace and reverted my draftification and while the topic is certainly getting a lot of press coverage, I’m curious why you didn’t allow it to go through the AFC review process, as I don’t believe it clearly meets NEVENT yet.Saqib (talk I contribs) 13:23, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I know but this needs to published. Punjab college's main article had this issue on it but the employee and social media team from PGC is actively trying to remove such information all togather. If you want to check, please do by going into history of Punjab college.
Under wikipedia policies, article can be published directly if there is no conflict of interest with topic. This article includes the institute action aswel in the aftermath section so it's safe to assume it's time to publish this. BakrxKiNG12 14:37, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please avoid editing other users' pages, like you did on User:Akif Tanzeel user page. Secondly, I noticed the article is citing some unreliable sources. Could you help find some more reliable ones to replace them?Saqib (talk I contribs) 19:31, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I know, it's not appropriate to edit someone else's userpage but users are given the permission by wikipedia itself to report issues directly on user profile which is exactly what I did.
For the sources on incident, I just added reliable ones such as Al-Jazeera, pro-pakistani, and etc as more media is covering this issue slowly. BakrxKiNG12 19:39, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
