[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Godot (game engine) are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. Grayfell (talk) 03:02, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- How was my comment a BLP violation? I was just explaining why I was posting it on there compared to anywhere else. I’m not allowed to express my frustrations with Godot, its dev team and fanbase? WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 03:10, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- As I said in my edit summary, I was killing that thread before it goes into WP:BLP violation territory. Calling people "assholes" and "complete jerks" on a Wikipedia talk page will only lead to more problems.
- But the main problem was WP:NOTFORUM. You titled that section "This has nothing to do with Wikipedia but still" so I trust that you already understand.
- To put it simply, the purpose of these talk pages is to improve Wikipedia. Grayfell (talk) 03:20, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- What I said is nothing compared to what the fanbase has told me WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 03:26, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Why do people on here hate me so much
[edit]I don’t want to get banned I wouldn’t be doing this if I wasn’t tormented by the Reddit admins who shadow banned and suspended me. I have no happiness in my heart anymore and I’m getting furious because of how people are treating me here. WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 05:01, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- No one loves me, I’m worthless WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 05:50, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- I just read another triggering article, I hate my life so much im always walking on eggshells and beating myself up I can’t do this anymore. How do people even survive WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 06:16, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- You are not worthless. Also, I have looked at at all the places you posted to I haven't seen any hate there. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 10:05, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
- what places did you look at? did you look at my specific posts? WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 01:38, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- All of them,
all the places you posted
. - What I did see was people saying that what you wanted – having a chat with people – does not align with the purpose of this website. Of course, editors have friendly conversations with one another on their Talk pages. But the main purpose of Wikipedia is to build an encyclopaedia and the article Talk pages are there to discuss improvements to articles.
- I saw that one editor offered to talk to you via email. I was happy for you when I read that. There are so many spaces on the internet where people chat, I hope you find something that interests you. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 09:20, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- All of them,

Sending warm thoughts
[edit]If you feel you want to physically harm yourself, or others, please click here for a list of crisis support resources. You are not alone! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:19, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- the phone hotline will send me to the loony bin (im not calling it a "psych ward") and the text hotline has never gotten back to me but even if they did they're just going to tell me the same stupid "coping mechanisms" (bullcrap like "taking deep breaths" or "journaling") that make me viscerally angry. and "yOu aRe NoT aLoNe" makes me furious because if you're just rotting in a loony bin because you're considered a danger to society just because of your emotional pain directed at yourself or the people who promised to help you but just made you WORSE and you can't tell anyone anything without being thrown in there than you ARE truly alone WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 03:22, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

. - Please read the essay Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not therapy. Cullen328 (talk) 04:34, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- i read the essay. is there any way this can be reduced to a temp block or something because i dont want this to haunt me for the rest of my life. i have many permabans on reddit and it's ruining my life. please dont ignore me like all the mods did on reddit. i have a feeling you're gonna tell me im only going to be unblocked if i go to therapy like i got told on 3 different subs i was permabanned from WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 04:46, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- My personal advice is, for now, step away from the computer. It's pretty clear you're not having a good time right now. It's ok to step away from the screen. The world is bigger than Wikipedia. Do something else. I know this may be hard, but is the alternative—what you are doing now—easy? It doesn't seem so. It seems very, very hard indeed. I have personal experience with mental illness (including the various side effects of SSRIs you were complaining about in that Teahouse thread), and I really empathize with you. I do. But I don't think Wikipedia is going to be able to help you.
- When you feel better, and are able to contribute to Wikipedia in a productive way, I would suggest writing an unblock request that recognizes you were acting inappropriately due to a mental health crisis, but that you are no longer feeling that way now, and would like to contribute productively. Indefinite blocks are not necessarily forever, if the blocked individual can show they are willing to change. However, you should seriously ask yourself what you expect to get out of Wikipedia. If the answer is 'a place to rant', I'm afraid you're likely to just get blocked again. Have you considered Twitter? I hear it's quite hard to get blocked there these days.
- I also understand your frustrations with "just go to therapy" type complaints. Therapy isn't a panacea. It isn't a "get better now" pill. It isn't easy, and it very frequently fails, and not enough people talk about that, frankly. So I'm not going to tell you to "just go to therapy". But—Wikipedia just isn't the place to help you with that, unfortunately. I wish I could provide a better answer for you, but I can't. You're going to need to figure out what works for you, and yes that's hard, and yes it may mean therapy. I don't know. No one does.
- Take care. Brusquedandelion (talk) 06:01, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- i have nothing else to do, i just rot in my bed all day. the point is i havent gotten better in literal years and ive just gotten worse, and twitter makes me anxious. nothing else has helped me. there's a certain user who's assuming bad faith, saying im doing all of this for attention and wants my talk page access revoked when im not trolling and im not wasting anyone's time. i just need to vent and somewhere to talk to. and the thought of being blocked forever makes me want to scream and sob my eyes out. ive been told hundreds of times that i desperately need therapy yet i just lash out at people because they won't understand it hasn't helped me and insist it will, the sheer thought of seeing a therapist makes me see red. i honestly dont think im ever gonna get better, i just get worse and worse by the day. its just extremely upsetting when i get kicked off with 0 second chances and told to screw off because my brain is full of worries 24/7 and i cant get rid of them no matter what i try. its not my fault im like this. and @Marchjuly i know youre out to ruin my life because you conisder me an attention seeker narcissist when im just simply struggling. i would contribute normally like i did before if my life wasn't crumbling before me WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 06:16, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
is there ANY possiblity i will ever get unbanned or my ban not be indefinite? the thought of never being able to edit on here again is sending me spiraling, just please dont say ill only be unblocked if i go to therapy. im so sick and tired of being kicked out FOREVER form every place you can think of. and if i get declined i at least want my questions to be answered instead of just being told "no" because that will make me furious WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 05:09, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. DMacks (talk) 06:05, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- The only way for you to get unblocked is to convince another administrator that you are here to calmly and rationally improve this encyclopedia instead of venting your frustrations. Many productive Wikipedia editors have various mental health issues, but they contribute productively despite their challenges. Indefinite does not mean infinite. Indefinitely blocked editors are sometimes unblocked. But you will not be unblocked to allow you to act out in a disruptive fashion. That is simply not going to happen. Be well. Cullen328 (talk) 05:52, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- honestly i have no idea when im gonna get better. nothing has helped me and if all anyone is gonna do is kick me off site after site then i honestly dont know what im gonna do. im getting furious just thinking about it WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 06:20, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Openly furious people cannot possibly succeed on Wikipedia. Find another website that allows furious commentary. Wikipedia is not that website. In my opinion, only calm and patient personalities can succeed on Wikipedia. Cullen328 (talk) 06:40, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- pretty much no website lets you be mad, they will ban you for that. if only there was an actual way to get rid of anger instead of using stupid childish "coping mechanisms" that dont work WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 06:51, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- I have extremely similar problems to you and understand your resentment of everything you try not working; however I have also learned that people don’t exist to be screamed at. I can also tell you that websites that are specialized in anything other than rants and/or mental health are not what you are looking for and you should stop trying to use them to help you. Dronebogus (talk) 07:15, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- then where else do i go? no one ever tells me where to go. im permabanned from almost all the mental health subs for my views on "treatment" and all of my rants and vents are removed and locked. i dont know any sites that are dedicated to rants or mental health (i went on nocd once but their pushing of erp made me more furious than anything, and you have to check a list saying you WILL get erp to even post on the forums). what do you think will help me? i get told i only use other people as a punching bag and that i choose to be miserable (i dont) all the time WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 07:33, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- I don’t know, 4chan? Some anti-psychiatry forum? Dronebogus (talk) 07:41, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- im gonna get bullied out of 4chan and im pretty sure there's people on there specifically keeping tabs on me. and ive actually been permabanned from antipsych subs because they cant handle my sheer presence. one mod told me im a narcissist and the other told me she couldnt handle me and my presence was going to get the sub shut down. yes its that bad. ive also been told by several people to stop posting in antipsych subs because it's a "echo chamber" WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 07:51, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- im like this because my mind is constatly exploding with worries and i have mental breakdowns if i see anything that upsets me. i went to several therapists and took several meds but never even got an tiny bit better. so i would take out my frustations on anyone who told me to get therapy while also constantly venting online, which quickly got me tons of negative attention and permaban after permaban to the point where i was infamous and had stalkers trying to provoke me on purpose and people specificially creating accounts to shut me down. i went on a furious rant about being permabanned from subs and being told to get therapy along with saying not so nice things about therapists and posted it in 7 different subs which caused hordes of people to get angry at me and report me and the admins stepped in and shadowbanned me. later i was suspended for "ban evasion" (the mods of a game dev sub muted me and i messaged them on another account). this was all on reddit btw WhereverWeAreNow (talk) 07:53, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

We have reached the end of the line here because you have said nothing about any of your plans to actually improve the encyclopedia. That is the only purpose of editing Wikipedia. Accordingly, I have revoked your talk page access. Please read WP:UTRS for your unblock options going forward. I wish you well. Cullen328 (talk) 14:07, 10 April 2024 (UTC)
- Cullen is very right but I wanted to add something here. Wikipedia is not therapy but it can be therapy. Writing articles and engaging with others to the improve the encyclopedia can be very therapeutic in that sense but the focus has to be on improving the encyclopedia. Cullen has provided a way for you the get unblocked but please do not attempt this until you are ready to contribute constructively. You have quite a few people here pulling for you in life and I know this community to be one of great empathy and sympathy so please understand we want nothing but the best for you and wish you well. You are a real human with a real existence and we want that existence to thrive. I truly hope you return one day and become a successful editor improving the encyclopedia and leaving a lasting impact on this community. On a personal note, I want you to know you already are enough. You may need to find the voice inside you but I already hear it. Good luck to you! --ARoseWolf 14:31, 11 April 2024 (UTC)
Maybe try again at UTRS. You'll have to convince the reviewing admin that you will only edit constructively and not continue the behavior that has led to you being blocked on Wikipedia, and by your reporting, banned elsewhere. Best. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:10, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Your email to me was not helpful. It said nothing new. Your use of email should be restricted to positive discussion and new information. Cullen328 (talk) 15:11, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
