PhysicsLAB is an educational website created in 1997 by Catherine Colwell, a physics teacher at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. The website teaches students across the country about physics, using "resource lessons", "worksheets". The sister website of PhysicsLAB is AlgebraLAB, a site designed to teach algebra and geometry.
Resource Lessons
[edit]Resource lesson on this site typically contain text explaining a concept, equations summarizing the concept, and sample problems with diagrams and solutions. Colwell's classroom instruction and lessons are based around these resource lessons.
Worksheets
[edit]These contain several practice problems, with textboxes to submit answers. At the end of the worksheet are more input field so that students may put in a form of username and password to submit their results to the main database for grading.
