Overview

The first table below labeled "ALL" represents the typical data provided in media guides/record books for basketball programs. See for example page 35 of the Arkansas media guide for the data in the tables below. The field shown are almost a standard. Some schools do not include the game started staff, some do not break out offensive and defensive rebounds, and not all show disqualifications, but generally speaking the field shown in the first table are presented in virtually all media guides (with the obvious difference that I added a team field which isn't necessary within a media guide for a particular team).

The first table is 27 columns and is arguably unwieldy. I pulled out the first four columns and then appended the ratios either from the first table or calculated the values if necessary. Then I also created a table with the totals (with the exception that I chose to omit personal files and disqualifications).

This information is provided to explore whether it is technically feasible to have both the ratios and the totals tables available to readers with one shown as a default and the other or both available as radio button options.
