    • In moisturizer often consist of Occlusives helps hold water in the skin after application, Humectants helps draw water from the air and Emollients  help smooth the skin.
  • Improve the role of a moisturizer in the article[2]
    1. Moisturizer helps increase hydrate subcutaneous (layer beneath your skin) ,smooth the skin surface, make the skin to be more extensible. The maximum effect of emollient is within 30-1 hour after use. The effect will last about 4 hours.
    2. Moisturizer often cause inhibition of  proinflammatory prostanoids production by blocking  cyclooxygenase activity cause soothing and lower skin inflammation.
    3. Mineral oil in moisturizer have low antimitotic( mitoic inhibitor) effect( slow down of cell division,mitosis) on epidermis, which would be helpful for people who have psoriasis disease.
    4. Moisturizer have antipruritic action (anti itching) by downregulate cytokines and cooling effect from evaporation of water for water based moisturizer.
    5. Most of moisturizer also contain sunscreen which will protect your skin pf UV light.
    6. Other effect such as wound healing from hyaluronic acid,Antimicrobial  effect by act against microbe surface and good psychological effect of having a smooth surface skin.
