Jany Martínez-Ward (born June 1, 1987) is a Cuban-American attorney, businesswoman and advocate for displaced immigrants.

Early Life and Education

Martínez-Ward graduated from Barbara Goleman Senior High School. She completed dual Bachelor's degrees in psychology and Spanish literature from University of Florida.^{[citation needed]} Martínez-Ward pursued her Juris Doctor at Nova Southeastern University School of Law, graduating in 2012.^[1]^[2]

Career

After graduating in 2012, Martínez-Ward, alongside her husband, established The Ward Law Group.^[3] The firm practices personal injury law and specifically assists the Hispanic community.^[4]^[5]^[6] In 2018, The National Trial Lawyers Association recognized Jany as one of the top attorneys in the state and among the top 40 under 40 attorneys.^[7]

Social and Charitable Contributions

In 2022, she joined the board of the I Have a Dream Foundation, providing funds for college scholarships.^[8] Martínez-Ward also supported The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's fundraising program.^[9]
