His primary goal in joining the movement for libre knowledge is to ultimately change the course of human history. Whether this is completed by rewording a sentence, fixing an error, writing off of a stub, or creating an entirely new article, Jacob realizes that even the smallest of changes can spiral into a universe-shaking revolution (and yes, this is making reference to the Butterfly effect).
