Autobiography:

January 16, 2002

". I was born in Washington, but I don’t know in which hospital. I was born April 28, 1990 at 12:00 pm. My Sisters were already at the hospital waiting for me. We had a little incident because I had surgery when I was born. Then everybody was worried because they thought I was going to die. So my mother was in labor and she was writing a story about me. Then I finally arrived. But before I arrived my father was scared because they thought I was going to die. But actually the incident didn’t happen until the day of my surgery. Then when I was 2 or 3 years old, I had to have surgery again. I was in the hospital for a long time. But when I got home I had the biggest piece of chicken I ever had.

When I turned 4, we moved to Capitol Heights and I had my 4th Birthday. When I turned 5, my grandfather died. I really miss him. During my the first couple of months at Kindergarten, I cried so much I frightened my Mom and my Teacher. At the age of 6 I started to school at Bradbury Heights. When I turned 7, I came to John E. Howard. Then I started to go to dance class and I am still in dance now. At age 8, I had my first sleepover for honor roll students only. At age 9, I was in the 3rd grade, Mrs. Spraggins, but back then II had 3 teachers. In the 4th grade my teacher was Ms. Roberts. In the 5th grade, Mrs. Groomes became my teacher and she was very nice.

Now I’m in the 6th grade and I have Mrs. Harris as my teacher and she is the nicest teacher of all. I go to dance very Saturday and we have recitals at the end of dance. I like Banquets, we have them after our recitals. I traveled a lot especially this past summer, I was away from home for 4 weeks. " - Imani

Documentary/Book : Imani's heart Jerry and Carlene Wilson, Imani's parents, searched for a meaning for their daughter's life in the numbers 7 and 12. Jerry and Carlene correlated these numbers to the numbers of completion in the bible. this discovery led Jerry and Carlene to believe that their daughter was an Angel. Imani died on the 2nd day of the twelfth month in 2002 on her 12th birth day the addition of these numbers(each digit) would equal out to 12: (2+(1+2)+(2+0+0+2)(1+2)= 12
