Some background about me might help put a context to any edits I make.

I have academic training in hard sciences, language and philosophy.

I have relatively few degrees to show for my work.

I am incredibly unpopular, so any truth-statements I make tend to be aggressively and often indirectly challenged, sometimes on purely political grounds. The Academy's position itself on a topic may even shift due to my agreement with the current position.

Inasmuch as these are egotistical statements, I would argue that my ego is a construct of the society around me, more than something lying within the physical bounds of my own cranium. For right now, I am compelled to pursue the truth of the matter.
