About me
Mostly interested in 20th-century art in Europe and the United States, modern art in Central and Eastern Europe, Socialist Realisms, and history of photography. Other interests include biography, Western history, politics, and commercial aviation. Currently a Ph.D. candidate in art history. My general philosophy as it comes to Wikipedia relies on shared responsibility. I have been editing since 2019, though I have become much more active since 2022. I am primarily active in WP:WPVA and my work focuses on improving existing content and creating new pages in related topics, including WP:GA work.

Disclosures

Due to the nature of my academic work and scholarly interests, I personally encounter certain living artists, academics, and other scholars. I have, on a few occasions, written about people I had met before, always in compliance with WP:COI. If I continue editing a BLP subject, that means my connection to that subject is not significant enough to constitute a conflict of interest. In some instances, I have cited my own published work, always in compliance with policy. I have also edited articles about non-profit institutions I may be or may have previously been affiliated with. Any such edits are done only to further the interests of the encyclopedia, maintaining neutrality and using reliable and verifiable sources. I have not and never will edit for any form of financial compensation or deliberately engage in any editorial practices for my own personal benefit.
